Not doubting the greatness of the achievement, I’m putting the achievement into context. Leicester’s achievement was unbelievable as well, arguably even more so, but it doesn’t mean they’re historically a big club because of that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah fair point, but I'd see them winning two European cups putting what they did above Leicester but I take your point.
Who cares? I'm talking about the biggest club at this moment in time. And in England City are the biggest club by far currently. Great manager, great players, rich owner, all the power in the world. You have to stop being jealous and admire what they've built.

Big Club Aston Villa going to get relegated this season probably. Big big club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Proving my point that you are only capable of looking at fifa and really dont know the history of the game at all. Read some books and put down the joy pad for a bit.
Utd
Pool
Chelsea
Arsenal
City
Spurs
Aston Villa are not a big club. They've spent most of the last 5 years in the Championship. Tiny Club as far as I'm concerned.
yeah my list is the historical top 10 , taken over the full length of english league football, not just the premier league era
i was debating on the last 2...i put wolves and newcastle
but there are arguments i feel for leeds, sunderland and maybe even WBA
Arsenal are a big club and not being biased but you can't have a team who haven't won the league in over 15 years and have never even won the CL or even Europa over us
Burnley are far bigger than Aston Villa. Established PL club. Manager with a strong reputation. Strong identity. Aston Villa have none of that.
Why did you change the original article ?

While the whole big club talk is complete rubbish anyway. All clubs are big in the eyes of their supporters.
Using your logic Bournemouth are bigger than Leeds
Bournemouth are bigger than Leeds. Leeds are tiny at this moment in time (They were big in the 90s and early 2000s). Haven't been relevant for over a decade and spent time in league 1 ffs.
I think Leicester’s achievement is actually more impressive, even if it didn’t have the same success. The financial disparity in the modern day is absolutely facking massive. Forest didn’t have that same disadvantage and even managed to spend big money for the time.
5000/1 is the biggest outsider win in sporting history, I believe. That’s what makes it all the more remarkable.

And Lester were tiny at the time and are big now. Why is this hard to understand? The size of a club isn't constant, it can increase and decrease. City are giant now but were small 20 years ago. Leeds were very big 20 years ago but are tiny now.
Wow. OK, I'll filter you then if you're gonna be like that.

Currently they are Leeds haven't been big for years. And they only ever had a seven/eight year period from 1968 to the mid 1970s of being big, plus one year in the 1990s.
Osama bin Laden supported arsenal so we should be first imo
I am 50. The 70's and 80's were completely dominated by Liverpool. Arsenal won that famous title with Michael Thomas's goal and Everton also got a couple of deserved titles with the Andy Gray/ Peter Reid team. The 90's were dominated by United, mainly because after Leeds won, Cantona left and joined Fergies 'kids'. Besides Blackburns SAS inspired (or maybe Walkers money), United and Arsenal dominated the 90's.
Then out of nowhere Chelsea (first) and City (secondly) got big money and between them shared titles with United. This pushed Arsenal and United latterly into the background.
Everyone with any knowledge of the history of football knows Liverpool are the UKs most successful club, closely followed by Manchester United. Bit having said all that, Leicester's title gave me the most joy

Wahlpeople underrate City’s fan base when they probably have the most fans worldwide. NYC FC, Melbourne City, Girona, Mumbai City, Atletico Torque, Sichuan Jiuniu and Man City.
That’s like probably a billion fans.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you realise that makes absolutely no sense at all?
and is in actuality factually incorrect.

firstly that's not city's fan base. not even close. it's just a list of clubs that happen to be owned/controlled by the same holding company. nothing to do with fanbase at all.
And there's nothing to indicate that any single fan of eg, Mumbai city, have ever even heard of man city, let alone be a fan of them.
in fact, the only factual part of your entire post appears to be your username, since that's clearly referencing what all your brain cells did many years ago...
