Again, speak for yourself -

......

I don’t think I am speaking for myself when I say people don’t take you seriously.

even Fox News had a clip where all were condemning the rioting, arson and looting.

Imagine that? Fox News condemning a bunch of black people rioting. Wonders will never cease 🙄

So, direct question to VC and cinciwolf: what is your issue / gripe here?

.....

I don’t have any issues or gripes. You?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mine would be, especially in light of the above response and how you've generally treated this conversation, that you come across as a troll. If that's wrong and you aren't trolling, it's that you're displaying a very blinkered view of this situation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

VC is known on this site as a guy with very little substance but who will be willing to argue all day and night to defend his very very narrow view of the world.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shame that you have people like that, especially in an age where there is more access to information than ever before...

Yep 😅

Let’s see if VC can understand why that comment was highlighted

Got to agree with VC and Cinci here.

I lived in the states for 10 plus years leaving in 2000.

My peoples I speak with are saying what these guys are saying.

The message is getting lost with the violence and looting.

Something needs to be done about the suffering of blacks at the hands of the police.

Rioting, looting, burning, and destroying your communities ain’t the answer.

If the police themselves made a stand thing would likely change. There are plenty of good cops out there.

If not, who are you talking about?

......

From this mornings news the Rev Al Sharpton, some activist rapper called Killer Mike and even Fox News had a clip where all were condemning the rioting, arson and looting.

I generally don’t pay much attention to rappers but this one was saying pretty much what I said on here yesterday.

You might be able to find it on YouTube under MSNBC News. The Fox clip was on MSNBC as well.

What evidence do you have to back that up, considering g that countless peaceful demonstrations have been carried out over the years and black people are still being murdered.

Violence is not the answer.

Robb, Why do you keep peddling this lie. Please stop it.

I understand perfectly well why there is rioting and looting going on.

My stance is that it is not going to help the cause. It isn’t.

What is having people around the world listening going to achieve?

I don't have an easy solution to solving systemic racism, which is why I don't try and tell people what the right and wrong ways are of protesting it are. I know that what has already been tried clearly hasn't worked though, or else we wouldn't be in this situation again.

What evidence do you have that rioting looting and arson will make a change?

I ask because this is a repeat of Baltimore a few years back. And nothing changed. The community that got raised to the ground is still boarded up.

When have I said that i think rioting and looting will make a change?

If I wanted to say that though I could point out that Chauvin wasn't arrested until after the rioting started though.

Yes I was really upset with the absolute shocker I had where people on the news coverage with much more knowledge on the subject on hand than you or me pretty much agreed with my comments from yesterday.

So burning your own community works for u

I’ll leave you do it, you’re critical of others for suggesting different courses of action when you have nothing to add yourself
