These riots will achieve nothing as usual. Not even a mention of George Floyd on the news networks anymore, just a focus on the destruction.
Heard last night that one in seven arrested in NYC have been from outside the region.

Why are you so transfixed with what these riots will ‘achieve’. Peaceful protests don’t achieve anything either. What is happening now isn’t some sort of movement. It’s an emotional reaction to a system which has been against them for centuries. It would actually be abnormal if they weren’t rioting.

It would be abnormal if there were no protests. We've already established that things have descended because of people infiltrating these protests and turning them into riots for their own purposes. But can you really see a situation where police become so bold that they can kill unarmed, compliant black people while being recorded and that the people who see themselves (and have seen themselves for centuries) as the victim every day would do nothing? Or that they'd somehow say "well one of ours has been killed but screw that, let's protest [insert other issue]"?

The one thing that really disappoints me when these incidents occur is how the police force in general do or say nothing, it is time the 'good' came out and lambasted what they must have seen from within. And it isn't about race, the police can seemingly bully their way through all levels of society and seem untouchable at times.

How about you learn that some white people's attitudes have not shifted at all through the generations (see the similarities in how Emmit Till was accused on the singular word of a white woman much like Chris Cooper just two weeks ago and how the system immediately believes and supports them.
