Surely it depends on the players?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
also why would any of them agree to join spurs, City could sell players worth having for spurs to sides in the CL
Kanes injuries and age are very much overplayed
----------
Completely agree with this.
Players are going longer and longer anyway. I think most top players will be going until 35 soon enough.
Well yeah that would be the sticking point in any deal, but I mean £100m plus a player isn’t a bad deal if it’s the right player.
I think you underestimate the ability to sell in this market as well, especially for players that City would want reasonable fees for.
The CL clubs that really have the money to pay for City’s players are in the premier league.
PSG and Bayern may look to pick up one of them, depending on who they are, but beyond that it’s really difficult to find buyers that these players would be happy with.
It’s an issue for a lot of clubs right now with the market in stasis.

Agree on Kane, I don't think it will be anywhere near £150m let alone above that.
All this chat about Levy but he's terrible in the market these days and I suspect wants the money anyway.
£100m plus add one would be my guess.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100m would be a reasonable offer for someone with a not great injury record and with only a few of their best years left. If City make an offer it is likely to be a take it or leave it offer as Haaland is a better value option at £140m with his best years still to come and the best coach in the world to work with.
How long do you think Pep is staying?

Why kane won't go for me this summer, next summer as good as gone
I hope you’re right. Can’t wait to see him in a United shirt.
Yeah £80m plus Sancho next summer
You’ll get £70m and Martial.
Why don't you offer £100m and him this summer?
I guess with the big Sancho signing makes it more difficult
I guess with other priorities like CB and DM as well
I find it curious United haven't gone for a proper top manager. Especially with Conte available.
I reckon the Varane story has plenty to it.
Yeah we can’t afford Kane as well.
If Madrid get Mbappe then maybe PSG enter the race for Kane. Wouldn't surprise me if they had a look at Salah either though unfortunately. He's only two years left now.
Kane won’t leave the premier league.
Do you think he'll break shearers record
He needs 95 goals. Only injuries can stop him really.

Interesting you think Man Utds lack of talent in midfield will make them 4th yet it’s arguable United have a stronger midfield and attack than Liverpool and you have them 3rd
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Opinions innit.
I don't see a 20 goal a season striker at Utd and certainly don't agree about midfield. Nearly lolled a bit in fact.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pogba has more talent than most of Liverpool's midfield options put together.
individual quality doesnt make a midfield as a unit good though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pogba is utter rubbish. When he is not bothered or it's a little bit hard he folds like a deck chair. I dont care what quality mancs think he has, I hope they give him 5.more years on a half mil a week and see how long till he stops playing through injury of whatever.

Right now I would not assume city will win anything, they lack that forward and kdb is not getting any younger
Utd will do the same as last year. Easy wins v bottom and struggle v top teams as their defense is a low block. Lots of firepower, little leadership so far.
Chelsea should win everything with their squad and breaking ffp left and right. Anything else imo is failure.
As for us. Forwards not getting younger. Fighting leicester and the rest for 4th
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Easy wins
Ha
Didn’t United set a record in most comebacks?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes they did get lucky but their top 6 record is on record, a lot of draws and 0-0s

I thought he'd be closer. If that's right Kane needs nearly 4 full seasons at his current run rate to beat it. That's a lot to ask seeing as he'll be 32/33 if and when he gets close. Shearer really was incredible.
Yeah Shearer scored a lot of goals in his 30’s, which was ridiculously impressive given his injuries and how shiiiiit some of those Newcastle teams were at times.
Kane’s actually scored more league goals than Shearer did at the same age, and quite a few more in the prem because Shearer was playing in Div 1.
Kane strikes me as the kind of player that will be scoring goals well into his 30’s as well. If he ends up at City he could end up having a few seasons where he breaks the 30 goal mark again as well.
Lukaku benefitted hugely from going to italy. Massive diet, really sharpened him up to the player that was hidden inside.
Kane though wont benefit to the same extent and his small team antics wont be put up with. He has gotten into the habit of playing into form not having to be on it instantly. He insists on playing every second and has systematically cost spurs year after year when it really matters as a half fit kane is a liability.
If he goes anywhere it will be to city imo. He can play there as he knows the prem but imo guardiola might ot fancy him at all. The other issue is he could find himself benched like aguero.
If he wants the records he should stay where he is and hope he gets one more final and one real medal.
I agree he can play into his 30s even through hes a lot of miles on the clock as pace was never and is not his forte. However he has to be the big fish in the small pond to do so.
