Yeah this faffing at the back is highly irritating and pretty needless.

Especially as all Wolves seem to do is make about 15 passes between the keeper and the back 4 and then just hoof it up the pitch anyway - just 2 minutes later than they would have done previously

Is Dawson good at bringing the ball out of defence? Kilman can do that at times but maybe not so much Collins. May help reduce the painful and dangerous playing in our 6 yard box although they may have been told to do that
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Watched Kilman beautifully dribble the ball out of defence on Sunday, but with every stride he took I was screaming "now pass it, you're going to lose it", and exactly that happened.
Ronan has completed his permanent transfer to Colorado Rapids and Fabio has joined PSV on loan for the rest of the season
Saw a film today of the tackle that earned Kilman a yellow card on Sunday. Ridiculous, not even a foul. Hope they appeal
You can't appeal a yellow card surely.

Interesting to see if Fabio gets games. They did lose Gakpo so there should be opportunity

Well they haven't signed anyone in January, and any new boss doesn't have very long to do so. I think they're going down, probably with Southampton and Bournemouth (I hope).
Other half reckons it could be Bielsa coming in to Everton, that would be a massive shock to some of their players. In fact I cant see him going there, there isnt the right mix of players at all there to fit his style.
I don't think they need to sign anyone to stay up personally. A decent manager should be able to keep that group of players up in my opinion.
Their problems are deeper than Lampard though and long term they won't be sorted just with a manager change.
With Thelwell at the club, one of the names being linked with Everton is Nuno. Be good news for Coady if that happened
Any thoughts that Fabio was attracted to going to PSV to link up with his mate Hoever can be put to bed. Fabio has signed to be there for the rest of the season while Hoever has been sent back to Wolves because PSV are not satisfied with his progress

Tammy's right DJ. You cannot appeal a yellow card, unless the referee carded the wrong player. You can however give the referee a low score.

Well spotted wolfie
I think it's easy to miss the nuances of the rule changes when you have far too much to drink before attending matches.
I imagine they would be dealing with 30-40 appeals every week if teams could appeal yellow cards.

To be fair it is an office job so that would be far far too much work in between the meeting and then the meeting about the meeting prior to the meeting to arrange a meeting about the meeting they had last week to discuss the meeting.
A week to go and no sign of a striker.

You're right. Just the 30-40 for the Premier League is nothing. We should just allow all teams to appeal every yellow card.
We'd have to apply that across the football league too though. So extrapolating, we are probably looking at another 90-120 appeals at least on top of that. Why stop there though? Surely we should be allowing all these teams to appeal more decisions they don't like, given its just about whether we give them work to do and nothing to do with having loads of conflicting appeals for every card constantly bringing the game under question. Maybe we should appeal that free kick given against Hwang?
Or we could keep it simple and just allow teams to appeal the bans for red cards. Might be too sensible though.
