Imagine thinking that allowing more qualified candidates from minority groups to be interviewed and considered for top jobs in 'established institutions', was a form of racism in itself, as it 'logically' could prevent a white person from getting that job.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Imagine that something like that makes sense in some people's heads and you begin to understand why the past is so insane and facked up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Imagine having to make something up that no-one here has argued in order to try and make a point?

Just imagine that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Never go full Real Clowns Satty.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Show me where anyone advocated against more qualified candidates from minority groups? I certainly didn’t.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I just actually meant... more, qualified candidates .... not more qualified, candidates
If they were equally qualified, Im sure the white candidate woul get the gig, 99 times out of 100

What world are you living in? Perhaps I am biased because I live in London but I just don’t see hiring practices like that anymore, at all and we don’t have quotas in the UK. I have already demonstrated unequivocally that white people are doing the worst out of all when it comes to higher education, something that has been the case for well over a decade now.

Either way, I don’t agree with quotas, I don’t agree that race should be a factor in uni admissions nor hiring. Simples. It’s really not a horrible thing to believe or advocate for at all.

Only 3 of the Shadow cabinet of 31 are black (1) or Asian (2). 10%

Does this make them an institutionally racist party? On the basis that it not only fails to meet national averages (82% of the UK population is identified as white?) but has also failed to positively promote non-whites in the 'compensatory' way that is being suggested by some/.

If the purpose of AA is to go beyond equality in respect of minority racial groups, then is this level of diversity in the Shadow Cabinet evidence of clear racism?

On average there should be at least 5 non-whites, so they seem to be failing to be representative and rejecting AA.

I am not picking on the Labour Party btw, just using them as an example of incidents where people can attach a racist tag, without there actually being any racial motivation to choices that have been made.

I mean hell, more than half that cabinet are white males. It goes beyond racism, the feminists should also be outraged
