5th in the first year. Got us back into Europe.

Ange did reduce the average age of the squad in his first season from 27 years, 356 days (3rd oldest in the league) to 25 years, 152 days (3rd youngest).

Will probably be even younger this season.

Sure if you don't think Udogie and Sarr are already success stories I guess we haven't seen it work yet

The first 11 was pretty good last season, no? The issue was having the likes of Gil on the bench

if the standard your holding them too is that they can't ever give the ball away then you're probably gonna say it hasn't worked I guess

Why just concentrate on the negatives though? Could say every player gave the ball away. Even Son, who probably gave it away more than both of Sarr and Udogie put together.

Udogie and Sarr weren't perfect but they showed good potential.

something fishy going on with our midfield situation, beginning to suspect one of Bissouma and Bentancur won't be here come September.

Just got to pray it works out and those first 11 start showing some consistency.

I'd actually say it's more likely that Skipp leaves than one of Biss or Bents based on Gallagher not going to Atletico

No, he is club trained so counts towards a different list.

any new signings coming in would require a different player not being registered for the europa league

for the defender that's easy you can nust unregister Davies and let him see out his contract, but for the new midfielder there's nobody you would happily deregister so you'd be looking to sell someone to free up room
