What's the overreaction? People don't want him shot or jailed. They wanted him to not referee their games anymore as he has shown he is impartial and abused an individual with reference to race/origin etc, which is against the FAs rules. Obviously referees are held to a higher standard than players since they are supposed to be impartial and uphold the laws and therefore he will likely lose his job. Nobody is overreacting saying he should get a worse punishment.

get ur head out the sand ffs. even if he was the most professional to his ability harbouring such hatred means hes in no fit state to ref a game involving them impartially. Even if you want to be fair, if you have such feelings towards someone you're never gonna be truly.

Theres a reason they dont let fans of clubs ref their own teams or rivals why do that then? theyre not corrupt let them

Nobody bookmarks the games. They remember the decisions this referee has been involved in as there are so many and they perceived bias from him due to the nature of the decisions. Which now appears justified.

Who can people still genuinely believe the refs are not corrupt. Talk about putting your head in the sand. It’s blatantly obvious.

I think scousers get wound up by their managers and then set off like clockwork ferrets. It was the same with Rafa, then with Klopp.

What exactly has the video proved? He said you played sh*t and that Klopp was a c*nt for the way he spoke to him. That's not bias, it's what he thought about the conduct of your players and manager.

He's fcked no doubt about it - not because of any bias but because he's been an absolute idiot for making unprofessional comments.

I'm sure Liverpool fans won't feel victimized by this. It's not like them

What it shows for me is the PGMOL needs to be totally gutted from top to bottom and subject to regulation

Coote calling Klopp a cant shows theres a big chance of bias and his colleagues must have known his feelings but he carried on reffing or VARing Liverpool games

It's a closed shop that answers only to itself and we're seeing the standard of officiating drop even with help from technology

All fans should be in unison on this. This Coote guy got caught out with Liverpool but you can be sure 90% of the refs are just as guilty as this guy. PGMOL needs to burn
