What he means is, that this alone isn't enough, so ads are a real possibility.
I think the BBC site is beyond awful. I looked at it today and thought my computer had broken! There are no clean lines - pictures pop up randomly and you can't really see where text ends or begins../ It's just HORRIBLE!

Did the BBC web designers sit back and think "Well done lads. Good effort all around" after making that horror show of a website

god you lot are right whingers! Whats so hard about the website?! If anything it's easier to navigate around your club's page with more info immediately apparent instead of having to scroll back up the top to scan through the old column on the left hand side.
It's much better. En masse Inertia anyone?!

it's not that bad, after a while when you figure out where everything is it's better.

The layout is mainly annoying I think because I'm not used to it. They have to get rid of the yellow though. That's a dealbreaker.
Im off to footybunker.com
The yellow was a mistake, though the site is non-profit...
Our lunchtime audience would half if we went yellow.

I can't disagree, because I couldn't bring myself to look at it long enough to figure anything out.
i'm colour blind it's all one big blur to me
If you scroll down about an inch then the yellow bar is gone anyway. Whenever they change the layout of sites I don't like it for a week or so until I get used to it.
I suggest you all do what I did and complain here.
OP I hope you don't mind that I quoted your vomit bit

The BBC Web/Media team moved to Media City in Salford.
Salford has a bit of a sense of humour with colours. All the 'Welcome to Salford', council notices & the garden wheelie bins are shocking pink!
They've got some nice new features but they need to tweak the homepage, it's too busy. And change the yellow as well. it's easier to navigate from the menu at the top though.
