no doubt Evra wanted Suarez to reach out for his hand. he never offered it
You know the world's gone mad when the allegedly refusing to shake a guys hand is treated as more intolerable than alleged racist abuse x
Oh god here we go.
Evra played the power game with Suarez who though "fûck you then" and moved on to De Gea.
I wish they'd both grow up to be honest.
correct Fred..but Suarez then takes it in the neck yet again from the world

Not this again!
We've discussed it already, now lets just move on...
Suarez hates blacks and abuses them on his days off, didnt you know?
Even when the player in question, Suarez, comes out and apologises for not shaking Evra's hand and saying it was silly and against what was agreed by the club......
Somehow Evra is still to blame???
You lot are in total state of denial. If you think Evra made it all up then that release of emotion he showed at the final whistle on saturday was Oscar worthy in my opinion. He's surely not that good an actor. If he is, he's wasted playing football. He should be giving brad Pitt a run for his money.
Quite clear to EVERYBODY, except LFC fans, who was and still is to blame in all of this......Mr Suarez.
Thought we had moved on. Obviously not!
Oh my word, still trying to claim Evra played him? I dont even like Evra but it is clear for the world to see Suarez just ignored his offer of a handshake, and he has even come out since and apologised to refusing to shake his hand.
It's done, get over it

It was still all instigated by Evra playing the power game, Suarez was wrong to fall for it though, hence the apology.
But Evra got his wish.
Some victim.
if he ignored it why did he never withdraw his hand, he didnt sprint past him?

Including his own grandfather! How do I know? The press said so
Evra was the recipient of a comment relating to his colour or race
But was not victim in all this and was certainly not innocent
He walked straight past him and put his hand towards De Gea's it is clear for everyone to see. These pictures claiming to show proof that he did go to shake his hand are all nonsense as well. Watch the video as many times as you like, Suarez made no attempt to shake his hand.
You'd think the apology may have been the end of it but apparently not.
Maybe it's Evra's fault for being black.
Evra wasn't exactly thrusting his hand at Suarez but as much as I dislike Evra, he's human too and would have been a bit wary of Suarez.
What was required was for Suarez to take the initiative and grab Evra's hand shake it firmly and look him in the eye.
They were both weak but the onus was on Suarez.
Can we put it to bed please? Ayre, Dalglish and Suarez have all apologised and i for one am happy for that to be and end to it.
cant belive there are L/pool "fans" who are still going over & over & over this!!!!!!!
It is truely "never your fault" to some on here.
Agree with you Agger - While Evra didnt exactly hold his hand out as generously as you would greeting a friend, the offer was still there.
Firstly it's pretty clear to all those with any sense that Suarez's apology for handshake-gate is a PR maneuver.
I'm not a Liverpool fan, and even as a City fan I'm not partisan against the rags. I have low opinions of saf, rooney, rio and evra, but that's based on their behaviour; I admire many united players past and present.
But Evra definitely played him.
Should Suarez have shook his hand anyway?
Of course he should!
But that doesn't mean Evra isn't an untrustworthy snake x
Fantastic article. If only more had their own mind like you and weren't easily led by the media.
Evra wasn't exactly thrusting his hand at Suarez but as much as I dislike Evra, he's human too and would have been a bit wary of Suarez.
Maybe he'd heard a rumour that Kommondant Von Dalgleish had given Suarez orders to chin him during the handshake.
do they even realised he LIED to LFC and the fans, who are backing him, making them look fools.
Suarez has no love for you, yet you blindly support him.
good luck to ya...
and you say 'lets move on'....sad.
There'sOnlyOneReds - Whenever I find myself in the majority in this country, I look very critically at my own opinion x
at the end of the day, Evra is a nasty piece of work. i don't like him, never have and never will. BUT - he held his hand out for the shake.
it was pretty clear he didn't necessarily want to, but it was what was agreed would happen and he was prepared to do it - Suarez blanked him and went straight onto De gea.
Trying to turn this around on evra is just going to mean it keeps going on and on forever. Your player did something wrong - deal with it and move on. no matter how many clips get shown, how many series of still images etc, it's not going to change the fact the Suarez refused to shake his hand.
