Sadly these days many players of Liverpool and Man Utd for that matter have real love for the club. The game has changed into a business.

For example look at Eden Hazard now contemplating a move to Spurs, is he a Spurs fan? No. Are Spurs flavour of the month? Yes.

Don't know about all you lot.....

But 'IF' I was charged for a crime that I Know I didn't commit.....

Then I would contest the hell out of it. I would appeal the bejesus out of it.

Did Suarez appeal ??? NO !!! Wonder why that is.

I'm sorry but innocent men in such circumstances don't choose to NOT appeal.

You have a racist in your midst. He's also a biter and a cheat just to add to the drama of it all.

Keep defending him. The more you do, the worse you and Liverpool look.

No interest in Evras view that Suarez isn't a racist then?

I still don't understand why not shaking the hand of a player is being treated so seriously!
It wasn't a racist action, as Suarez was quite prepared to shake Valencia's and Rio's hands...

It doesn't make any sense! Where's the perspective people?! x

They do if they are found guilty with no evidence as the three man panel choose to believe one man over another. What can you appeal then? They've already decided to believe one man over another. The decision can't be changed only the length.

The pre-determined decision was already made, so an appeal would have been fruitless.

Shoot him, hang him, throw him out, he didn't shake the hand of a man he doesn't like, oh where is the morality?!

Because for the good of club relations it was agreed beforehand that it would happen but for some reason suarez went against this and it all blew up again.

The decision to appeal is based on whether you think you can win or not. Suarez had already admitted to using the word black to describe a black man, and was punished on this basis. On what grounds could he appeal. Dumbass x

The FA had too much to loose by overturning the original decision. There was no point in dragging out the issue. Which is why Suarez should have taken the handshake.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

You really believe that's how he truly feels away from the media and cameras?

That statement was obviously meant to defuse the situation but it clearly didn't work.

Evra's true feelings were there for all to see on saturday at the final whistle.

Suarez is racist. Why did he have to bring colour into a an argument on the pitch? If he doesn't like Evra...why couldn't he just call Evra a **** like anybody else would do and get on with it. Using colour is just cowardly and pathetic.

Don't worry though guys......John Terry will take the heat away in a few months.

I agree that the FA had too much to lose, which is why they went with the ban, they couldn't afford to be seen as not being tough on racism, especially when they were trying to take the moral high ground over FIFA.

However people blasted Blatter left right and centre when he suggested these issues should be settled with a handshake, now they're agreeing with him. It's disgusting. Whatever the media say, you all jump on it. media against the handshake because big bad Blatter said it - outrage. Media for the handshake - big bad Suarez is against it - outrage. Wake up, you're being indoctrinated!

How is it any more pathetic than any of the names used to rile opposing football players on the pitch? It's all utterly pathetic. Suarez and Evra are as bad as eachother, just this culture deems racial abuse to me worth than any other type of abuse.

Suarez has pleaded innocence throughout all of this and has not even been allowed the basic right of a fair trial.

Given how this case has escalated it is ridiculous for Suarez to be judged on the opinion of three old white men working for an organisation with a 99.5% conviction rate who report to the chief exec of the accusing club.

That is not justice.

it is not racist to bring colour into an argument, it isn't even racist abuse. You really aren't very clever though are you?

How can somebody be racist against his own race? Suarez is part black, you halfwit.

So stratford what you are saying is that you are allowed to cherry pick what you want to believe from the panel but others are not, or rather those that disagree with with the bits you choose to believe or not are not allowed to?!

Absolutely Suarez is an absolute moron for not forcing a handshake on Evra. Fu€k it; he should have embraced him in an apologetic hug.

But sometimes when you feel like you've been screwed over, you become angry and make god awful decisions.

stretford has been claiming Suarez has acted like a guilty party. I'd describe his behaviour as typical of someone who feels a sense of injustice.

Evra's triumphant boastful actions speak to me too x

Have you been asleep?

He has been given that right. And it took place and he has the right to appeal but decided not to.

He can plead his innocence all he likes , just like the majority of prisoners in our prisons, but that does not make him innocent.

I know what you mean, but it takes a great deal of strength of character to sort out problems man to man, ideally they should have sorted it on the day, but Evra and Suarez both hid behind their clubs.

They are both to blame in my view, but LFC is more important than any one player and what ever way we look at it our good name has been damaged in this episode.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

He didn't appeal because he was guilty. Nobody would stand by and let their reputation be tarnished over a miss-understanding.

Not only that but his evidence wasn't consistent either and was changed.

He was charged, then investigated and then found guilty by an independant panel and given an 8 game ban.

I 'll stick with the facts rather than Suarez's pathetic claims it was meant in jest thank you for very much.

If you think he has been given that right them I'm afraid it's you who has been asleep. Three men, one far from independent, one not qualified to deal with this matter. These three men found guilt on the 'balance of probability'! Can you believe it, such a serious case and they can't even find evidence so they ban him and brand him for life of the balance of probability?! Fair trial?! Are you insane?
