For example look at Eden Hazard now contemplating a move to Spurs, is he a Spurs fan? No. Are Spurs flavour of the month? Yes.

But 'IF' I was charged for a crime that I Know I didn't commit.....
Then I would contest the hell out of it. I would appeal the bejesus out of it.

They do if they are found guilty with no evidence as the three man panel choose to believe one man over another. What can you appeal then? They've already decided to believe one man over another. The decision can't be changed only the length.
The pre-determined decision was already made, so an appeal would have been fruitless.

I agree that the FA had too much to lose, which is why they went with the ban, they couldn't afford to be seen as not being tough on racism, especially when they were trying to take the moral high ground over FIFA.
However people blasted Blatter left right and centre when he suggested these issues should be settled with a handshake, now they're agreeing with him. It's disgusting. I know what you mean, but it takes a great deal of strength of character to sort out problems man to man, ideally they should have sorted it on the day, but Evra and Suarez both hid behind their clubs.

He didn't appeal because he was guilty. Nobody would stand by and let their reputation be tarnished over a miss-understanding.
Not only that but his evidence wasn't consistent either and was changed.
He was charged, then investigated and then found guilty by an independant panel and given an 8 game ban.
I 'll stick with the facts rather than Suarez's pathetic claims it was meant in jest thank you for very much.

These three men found guilt on the 'balance of probability'!
