Bales a maggot and half the time does not even wait for contact.

red_man23,

As i said, Bale may go down easy once in a while, but i haven't watched one game Suarez has played in, where he hasn't made me cringe at his diving.

I recall last season Suarez had his back to goal, in the Spurs box, he must have thought King was next to him because in an attempt to con the ref into giving a pen, he swivelled, fell over & demanded a penalty but what he didnt know was but King had already peeled away & he was actually in a 4ft radius all by himself.

Priceless.

I don't think any LFC fan really condones Suarez going down easily.

It's not like were a club that would look up to a player that does it so blatently that he has incorporated it into his goal celebration or anything like that.

Only awful fans from an awful club would do that.

Why would you want a link to Capello's grasp of the English language?

I like the way Suarez "dives", but Bale "goes down easy".

Was it also priceless when Bale Went Down Easily™ with nobody in the same post code, then started a fight with Daniel Agger out of sheer embarrassment?

I'll admit that Suarez is guilty of exaggeratting contact, and going down clutching his shin (like the Rodwell sending off earlier on in the season). But there has to be contact made for him to do that. If Suarez dives so much why haven't there been players of clubs affected in the papers criticising him, like they are Bale?

Bale goes down easy 'once in a while' does he? That'll be why he's been booked for simulation more than any one else this season.

That was well funny. Agger told him off like a little school boy.

If Agger had took him up on that offer of a fight then Bale would be diving face first into the floor.

But there would at least be contact!

Similar to that yeah, but multiply it by 100.

You mean like Wenger recently did, and KD complained about it? You mean that type of criticism?

It was pretty funny, although it would have been funnier if Bale had correctly been given the two yellow cards he deserved - one for when he Went Down Easily™ and the other for his aggressive behaviour towards Agger.

In fact, I motion that if Gareth Bale gets another yellow card for Going Down Easily™, he should be sealed in large barrel along with 70 scorpions and dropped into the Laurentian Abyss.

It was one of Bales most cringworthy dives to be fair. Very honest of you Chicken. Turning over a new leaf?

I actually don't have a problem with going down easily myself. Does not bother me one jot.

For me diving is going down when there is no contact like Bale.

Chicken

When was the last time Arsene Wenger put on an Arsenal shirt and took to the field?

I'm talking actual players that were directly involved, and there at the time. Not 50 yards away on the touchline. Did Szczesny complain about the Suarez pen or the Bale one?

Suarez gets worse with every game, if he doesn't get banned soon & thrown out of English football for good - then i will not follow Liverpool ever again.

Finally, someone with some morals.

Scharner had a go at Suarez after we got a penalty against West Brom, in fairness - unfortunately for him, it was as obvious a penalty as you're likely to see, and he ended up looking like a silly berk.

Are you Liverpool fans sincerely trying to tell me that Suarez doesn't have a reputation for diving but is actually well regarded as the model pro?

Gareth Bale is the only player in the Premiership to be booked for diving more than once this season.

I cover my bed in Roysters and chuck the bird on top, then I dive in head first every night

Suarez is the only player to get banned for 8 games this season for racism, but you claim he's not a racist. So?

posted on 15/3/12

Of course he has a reputation for diving; the thing that Liverpool fans are pointing out is that he doesn't dive much at all (versus crying like a jessy when he's tripped, which he does all the time).
