Pumped Up Kicks that is no excuse. When the Ashes were on I would watch all night, and nap through the day in between lectures. I absolutely loved that series, barely missed a ball.

Thankfully I start a new job next week and have nothing to do but get up early and watch cricket in the meantime!

Yes, it looks that way, thankfully.

He's looked pretty sharp recently, bowling well with a good rhythm so that bodes well for the remainder of the tour.

He'll only miss that first one by the looks of it. Don't think you're getting off too lightly...

Been off here for a while but with test cricket on the near horizon looking forward to some intelligent cricket chat alongside the games.

India have to be favorites after England's dismal display against spin last winter but you never know maybe the top order has learnt from their mistakes. I'm hoping Graham Onions gets a chance (if Broad is out like Finn) he has been unlucky with injury in the past and the tight disciplined line he bowls is exactly what we need against a good Indian batting line up. Will be disappointed if Monty does not get a place in the first match, we really need our 2 best spinners playing, no doubt that Patel has done well with the bat in the warm up games but we need to take 20 wickets to win a match and I think we have our best chance with Monty in the side.

Anyway good luck to both sides, here's hoping for a good competitive series.

Thanks neon, good to be back, just hope England's cricket does not make me want to disappear again.

The fact that England have made sure they have had some warm up matches this year will hopefully mean that won't be quite as shocked when the ball starts spinning. Just watching skys build up program, making me want to get up good and early but 4am might be pushing it.
