Looking bad for England now. But, fears about the pitch going crazy have been alleviated. No reason why England shouldn't bat well if they're patient and stick in.
Wouldn't bet against them being rolled though
Hazsa, day 3 will be fine for batting. Typical Indian pitch get's bad at some point on day 4. By then England should have avoided the follow on if they bat well and that is a big IF.

Surely India need to step on the gas now?
Don't know why India aren't declaring now. Either step it up or declare. 500+ is safe enough to not bat again. Want to see a crack at England tonight. 10ish overs from Yadav and Zaheer and then let Ashwin and Ojha have around 12 overs!
550 is a par score on this track.

Last 10 odd overs were a complete waste of time. India did not accelerate the scoring so can't really see why Dhoni carried on after Pujara's double.
What a waste of time that was! Real match starts now then

Should have hit out then rather than scratch around and turn down singles

There is only the one winner of this test.....a rain dance is the only hope England has got....albeit very slim..
"And got out before they wanted to ?"
what?
25 overs gives his bowlers a good crack.....it's a long day tomorrow and wants them fresh.....besides it's his call and he can do what he wants....he is holding the stick..
I know he can do what he wants. What's the point in having a forum if all you can do is agree with what happens on the pitch?
Im not arguing with timing of the declaration. It would have been fine if they had upped the tempo.
It's not as if they needed the runs....

hafza basically tomorrow it will be spinner only bowling. so the target for india is sneak in with 2 wickets today and then go all out tommorow. there is plently of spin anyway
