im scheptical that anyone would decide to play a conventional sweep shot before the line and length of the ball could be ascertained.
Who said anything about a conventional sweep shot, and you must not have watched much of Ian Bell lately.
Who said anything about a conventional sweep shot
=======================
well I did.
and I suggested that the sweep shot that people are talking about now is not the conventional sweep shot.
when I suggested that, you replied "quite opposite".
so I suppose we both did.
lol, England play all kinds of sweep shot, and its got them into all kinds of trouble.
The sweep shot all to often ends up with a top edge...
5 - 75.......very poor.??
I can it will be a quiet night on here with all the chest beaters finding something else to do except face the facts...
101-7
This game will be over on the 3rd day.
Ian Bell needs to be dropped.
Another average left arm spinner is made to look world class by English batting.

Was hoping for some friendly banter but it has gone all quiet around here.....
Don't despair.......by day one of the 2nd test the chest beaters will be telling us how/why they are going to win.....rest assured, it happens every time...
I just got up (give me some slack, I drove up to Tranmere to watch MK play last night).
You lot won't be laughing when we're bowled out tomorrow evening, only to win the game on the last day.

So come on then. Someone fill me in on how the heck this mob bowled us out for 190.
Can safely say I only stopped commenting because some on here are just looking to bash certain teams. It was one of the main reasons I was reluctant to post in the first place. Not directed at anyone there are plenty of people who seem to spend more time goading other teams and members rather than discuss cricket

By directing it at the person in question therefore potentially sending this thread into mudslinging
Davidoff i'm sorry I guess a few of us regulars (who enjoy the banter between eachother) forget that there are others who should be comfortable posting.

The funny thing is most of the time whoever makes these comments generally have a point (like the trott non-catch) it's just the way it is put across and generally looking for stuff with certain teams. Then commenting on these more than the actual game.
The same happens between Ind-Pak-Eng-Aus. Think I'll be sticking to the football and gaming boards

So was it bad batting/good bowling that accounted for 190 all out? Looks rather easy now (please don't jinx it)
