How often do people actually watch FC Koln to make a judgement on whether he is any good or not?

I wouldn't say he's superb, he's decent, if he was superb the top clubs would have snapped him up. A talent for sure but he's raw.

The only one who really matters is Klopp, and he apparently doesn't think he's worth anywhere near 20M.

Hector didn't make a single mistake last year in the Bundesliga

He's 6ft good in the air and in the tackle, gets up and down the pitch, actually has an end product rather than blasting it across the 18 yard box.
First choice left back for Germany..

He's a superb left back.

Compare it to Moreno, who's a crap, mistaken ridden, thinks he's better than he is midget.

And statistically, neither did Moreno on Sunday. But my mince pies told me a different story.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics.

Not one single mistake? Not even a miss-placed pass or late tackle?

Moreno has a far better end product than Hector. He provides loads of chances(and no I don't mean for the opposition). Hector is a safer option however. It would be great to have both options.

Doesnt moreno create more chances than any other fullback in the league?

finishing them seems to be the problem

Or maybe the quality of those final balls? That's just using my eyes though. I'm aware that doesn't measure up to the use of stats....

Those balls are koala tea.

Some of Moreno's 'chances' are from Coutinho's long range efforts.

He rarely gets a cross right...or should i say i rarely see him get a cross right.

I think he needs some time away from the team and individual coaching in training.

I wouldn't be against him having time away from the starting lineup but only if we signed a left back. Milner is certainly not the answer, for me.

Depends on whether Klopp or Buvac actually believes they can actually sort him out....then Milner's an ok stop gap. He played that left wing back role under Mancini, when he tried a back 3 for City that one season.

can we not just get a fackin left back, milner is too slow to play there and the style of footy Klopp wants to play.

Biglaa what do you mean that Moreno committed no errors statistically? That can't be correct surely?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

You know how people like to break out the "number of errors leading directly to a goal" stat? The stat that they use to show Moreno wasn't responsible for any goals conceded last season? The stat that shows that what we see on the field with our own two eyes is largely irrelevant next to the numbers?

Well, considering that, Moreno statistically didn't create any errors that led to a goal on Sunday.

Good job Moreno

Nah. inverted central midfield wingers dropped into defense are the way of the future. You're just not football hipster enough to realize that
