Answer to our problems is James Milner back in midfield
Rather Milly in midfield than at right back
Rather have a lamppost on left than Jones

Konate back, finally an opportunity to drop Van Disney. Given Van Disney and Fabinho are clearly puzzying out of risky tackles to save themselves for the world cup how about we drop them until January. Cvnts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where has this Van Disney thing even come from, kept meaning to ask
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Slander names, loads players have one e.g. Penandes, CRKelly, Lewandisney, Luke PAWG, Lube them soft ass cheeks, Horrenderson, Rashfood-bank, Alexander Lackofthreat, Jadon Benchod, Obese James, Fatguy Nomnombelly, Emile Sheit-Show.

Hilarious but going after VVD makes you look like a nutcase.
I thought Virgil wasn't dragged out of position that much with Konate next to him.
We need to buy a centre back as a backup.
Our defensive shape was much better with this 433 formation. The distance between the players and lines weren't large and not many gaps.
Boring match tbh but we got the win nonetheless and just need to keep working at building some consistency now
Boring is good for now. Ibou makes a big difference because he is the only CB who is aggressive and now he's developed some Matip forward runs which include that weight and power.
Trent was disciplined at the back. He got beaten a few times but all that roaming licence has finally been taken off him.
Tsimikas only seems to play well when Robbo is on the bench. He was excellent yesterday.
Yeah yeah...will boring 2-0 wins all season tbh
Tsimikas is a great backup but not a successor to Robbo tbh
We needed some sort of performance from Trent, Virgil and Fabinho recently and they certainly delivered last night....albeit in a nothing game
Was good to see some actual fight and physicality too.
Part of me thinks they're struggling mentally in the PL because they know it's already gone, because our CL performances show the quality is still there.
We were something like 14pts behind last season before we clawed it back. Maybe they don't have the fight in them to keep fighting beyond the odds but they've proved to themselves many times it can be done.

We have turned in the occasional good EPL performance though.
Beat arguably the best team in Europe 1-0, lose to the worst two teams in the league and then end Napoli’s 21 match unbeaten run.
It’s Jekyll and Hyde at the moment. You just have no idea what kind of performance is coming.
didnt watch it, saw some highlights, salah missed his usual sitter a 1v1? they had some good chances as did we. Nunez came off the bench and got an assist and a goal then?
in the replays jones was involved in a lot of our good play, did he have a good game? did he play wide too?
Spurs players celebrating in the changing room after the game like they won the CL

Think the keeper saved it but yeah you'd usually bank him to bury those
