2010 was prob the worst though, Ngog and Jovanovic

2005 was bad when Cisse and Baros were injured. Mellor and Sinama Pongolle. Although both are legends for scoring against Olympiacos.

Old Trafford day is here again. One of my least favourite fixtures to be honest, usually 90 mins of the home fans singing murderers, us dominating the match but somehow relentlessly shooting ourselves in the foot and not winning.

Hopefully a different story today.

I'll take a draw to be honest but equally we only failed both games last year because of stupid mistakes, missed chances, and being too open.

We already won't be as open under Slot so correct one of the other two and you'd think we've got a good chance.

I've got Oly last season vibes. Should be a comfortable win for us. Ugarte didn't get registered either.

United look poor, we should be beating them comfortably.

With our more patient approach I can see us having more space in behind too.

In fact I'm going to do what I did the last few seasons - record it, follow it on here and watch it later (if a favourable result)
It does nothing for my blood pressure watching it live

they often up their game for us/city tbf and as bad as they can be theyve still got a lot of players than can hurt you.

I used to hate Utd games. For a lot of years the defeats hurt more than win brought joy - if that makes sense. I hated losing to them more than I enjoyed beating them.

Over the last decade though defeats don’t bother me nearly as much. I pretty much shrug off any defeat in the league, cup finals still sting a bit. But basically that means I now enjoy beating Utd way, way more than I hate losing to them and consequently these are my favourite games of the season! Nothing quite like giving Utd a good beating. Not too bad today though hopefully, don’t want to inadvertently get ETH the sack

He only trained for the first time yesterday apparently so didn’t make the squad. Not sure if he’s in the Italy squad.

I absolutely hate the first international break, but it’ll give Klopp some time with the fringe players.

I think Elliot has been a bit unlucky with how well the starting lads have played. I feel he’ll excel in this system.

And people were worried we wouldn't be as pleasing to watch under Slot. So far it has been art.

With the front 3 we’ve got, we’re always going to score goals. Doesn’t need to be gung ho every time. Even when 3/4 up under Klopp we would always go for more goals, more control was needed.

Salah just said that it's his last year at the club
