Considering intention when a foul is committed was removed in the late 90s and yet commentators and pundits still frequented blast out this nonsense.
posted 1 day, 4 hours ago
Never understood why intention gets constantly mentioned either.
I'd wager a good 95% of all fouls or red cards are unintentional.

Tbh after the Coote fiasco I expect absolutely nothing from referees for the rest of the season.
No issue with the Robertson sending off but the other decisions were laughable.

Nah that was red mate
FWIW Spurs is a must win game to stop a 3 match run of dropping points, having Chelsea erode our lead in just 3 games is tough for confidence, beating Spurs will help restore it. I appreciate we have a game in hand but that won’t be played for weeks and it’s away at the bitters so not exactly 3 points in the bag.
Wonder if we will see the Spurs that beat City, or Dr Tottenham.
Spurs team without VDV and Romero plus keeper we should be winning with ease. There DM Bentacar is also suspended.

I get what you’re saying but I just don’t think it’s as crucial as you think. I think there will be loads of twists and turns this season, possibly the most open title race for years. It’s easy to see the lead we had and think we should be maintaining it, but we’ve got to remember that it’s still Slot’s first season and we’ve had a few injuries to crucial players, mainly Konate.
I prefer to look at any lead built up as a buffer rather than something to keep. Hope the teams below us will have their own issues and we stay ahead of them.

Two games in a row we've dropped points and neither Arsenal or City have taken advantage.
Did not see that coming.

If we dont sign anyone in jan the owners and edwards etc are taking the piiss. After a disappointing summer failing to reinforce slot properly theyve got some catching up to do. If theyre serious about winning stuff and backing slot theyll have 2 or 3 big key signings lined up for jan already. We need strengthening in a few areas so it shouldnt be hard.
