Number 6 is a must, a centre back would be a nice bonus. Gravenberch can't continue to play the amount of minutes he's currently playing. He'll end up injured.

I’ve said it before, I think it’s down to Slot that we didn’t sign much in the summer. He clearly had his own ideas about using the existing squad, as seen with Grav and he likes working individually with players, several have mentioned this.
Endo was one he clearly didn’t want and wanted Zuba. So I think we do get a midfielder in January and maybe a CB. Cant see us buying anything else, unless he decides that LB is becoming an issue.

New manager bounce of some sort against us on Wednesday with Southampton sacking manager.

I think left back is becoming an issue. Although I think it will wait until the summer. We definitely need a number six however, as Gravenberch getting injuried could derail the whole season. Centre back could wait but would be nice to have another.

If we get a CDM and a CB I’ll be delighted but just a CDM will make a massive difference.

Honestly wouldn’t mind going out of the carabao on Wednesday. They’ll have their inevitable new manager bounce so could actually help us.
Focus on the main thing now which is the league, won the cup last season which was great for us and the kids but we’ve got an amazing chance this season. Hopefully Grav, Salah and Van Dijk are wrapped in cotton wool and no where near St.Marys.

Hoping to see a lot of rotation. Play Quansah, Endo, Nunez, Nyoni...
posted 21 hours, 49 minutes ago
Yeah rotate the squad and if we win we win, if we lose I agree, couldn’t really care less.

If we lose then it becomes 3 without a win domestically and the only win being that ugly lucky win in CL. It's minor but it will mean that we have hit a dip in form.

It’s why I think we need to beat Spurs, especially now the gap to Chelsea has been cut to not much. Lose or draw there, with Chelsea almost guaranteed to beat Everton then we could go into second place which is gut wrenching considering how clear we were.

Saw some people saying how well Szobo played in that 2 man midfield when we went down to 10 men. He’s done it a few times against Newcastle and Wolves last season, where he’s shown incredible work rate from a deeper position.
I kinda agree he’s not got that finesse on the final third sometimes and it could actually be a thought of swapping him and Mac Allister for a bit. Dom can play box to box, and Mac can play between the lines and play this cute passes like Coutinho used to do.

Wouldn't say Chelsea are guaranteed to beat Everton.
They've got 4 clean sheets in their last 5 games and haven't lost at home since August.

He played really well and we know he has the P n P to be a PL midfielder. He can do the job for sure but not sure he can play on half turn as well as others. Overall he has had a good month.
