Combining intermittent fasting and carb backloading worked really well for me. Worth giving it a go.

tcw also.. im looking to take around 250g of protein a day.. possible?
82kg , 180 pounds x 1.5g per pound.
i tried puting it in porridge, didnt work well. Small amounts in stews and stuff might work (like using flower to bulk up a sauce)
i was just planning on going crazy with it. sprinkle onto everything i eat .

250g wtf
You'll be píssíng most of that out, especially if it's powder form. You only need about 100-150 grams.
rvpm, to grow and put on muscle, its recommended to have around 1.5g of protein per pound of bodyweight
Mr. C, is it indelicate to ask you how old you are?
More protein doesn't necessarily mean more
muscle. There's a limit somewhere. If you're on steds, then maybe. But for natural bodybuilders , I don't think it works.
just increase your calorie intake. And take same amounts of protein, maybe slightly higher.

Probs don't need that much. Also not healthy for most people.
Having said that, protein is the best macro to keep high when you're cutting. So if it's not killing your bank balance then protein away.
The other thing i'd say.
You can't beat a bit of fish or chicken with brown rice.
All the wheys in the normal price range. I doubt any of them are particularly great in terms of production. I dunno about you, but I don't generally buy highly processed food. Yet I don't think about my shake in those terms half as much. Which is wrong.
Proper protein powder is fecking expensive.
Its not all muscle though RedCog. that 82kg.. so im looking to strip it down and up my protein intake..
tcw yeah that's my aim... but i just need to find foods that are suitable for me that gives me enough energy throughout the day which arent fattening.
or chicken with brown rice.
