Well protein is filling and hard to digest (every 4kcal of protein takes 1kcal to digest it!), so really man the answer is just boring food. Lean protein, healthy carb, lots of veg. Repeat until you want to kill yourself.

I don't know about you but eating is supposed to be fun too.

Throw a chilli at it then. FFS what do you want from me.

Nah i'm kidding. Obviously when you tell someone to do that, unless they're the sort of nutter that embraces that sort of thing, they won't. But hopefully there is a compromise in there. Just switching from white rice to brown rice is a good start. Or adding vegetables to plates of food which didn't before have them.

Yep I know.. but all the food which are fun to eat and taste so good arent that great for you.. i havent got a problem with bland food. its just the preperation that is needed to make it...whereas if you're getting a pizza or chips or buying a burger, its just so damn easy.

I understand TCW. Which is why i am not a serious lifter anymore (well, that and fatherhood).

I get very bored easily so eating the same foods every meal/every day is a no-go for me. But you are right in that for efficient results, that is a good method.

Combining intermittent fasting and carb backloading worked really well for me. Worth giving it a go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

How long was your eating window? I saw good results with 8 hours
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Between 6-8 hours. During the fasting period I would only eat breakfast (usually sugar free cereal) and a banana just before working out. Also made sure not to have a carb heavy meal just before going to bed.

My eating window was usually between 3-10. I rarely have an appetite before 2 so it wasn't too difficult.

Worst thing is the pain kicks in fackin 2 days later. Just when you think "That wasn't bad doing legs" you wake up unable to walk properly.

I like the debilitating leg pain. Makes me feel good when it lasts all week.

Lowering yourself onto the toilet with your arms, laughing in disbelief, and just falling the last 2 inches and agony. Fantastic.

The main benefot is this workout is much faster than Blaha's original 5x5. Like half the time if not more

Mr C how you juggling Ramadan and workouts?

Training in a fasted state. I went to a fat physiology lecture once where the guy wasn't massively keen on it but it has its supporters as well I imagine.
