#freeddg he just want's to better himself, like Sterling.

pffft. You guy never 'freed' Sterling. You sold him when you got enough money for him. Exactly what we did for DDG. Except Real Madrid farked things up. The gobbshites.

I wonder what Navas and De Gea must be thinking.

They must be really piiiissed off.

Hahahaha. Mate I know you're try to have a good WUM here but you're looking like a goose. Go and have a coffee and see if you can come up with another angle.
=================

No my angle is completely plausible I'm afraid.

Look, I know the Utd fans on here want to see their club in the best light and all that but to not even consider the opposite is naive I feel.

What I don't understand is why some on here seem to be pleased. If DDG doesn't find the same level in a Utd shirt then they're well out of pocket with a keeper who many seem not to rate as back up.

It'll be settled amicably.

I also don't understand this "Utd held out for the fee they wanted" stuff.

They clearly didn't as there was a player exchange involved where the said player suddenly went up in value.

...............

This is a fair comment. Sterling has gone to a club where he will have a much better chanc to improve.

DDG however, if he were at Real, would be at a club where he will very rarely have anything to do, and thus would not improve.

Do you know what fee we wanted?

posted on 1/9/15

Well if it was £22m and a £5m quid keeper I'd be very surprised.

But United clearly held out for a deal that suited them hence actually agreeing to the transfer.

Had Madrid done this earlier, be it a full transfer or one that included Navas, then there wouldn't have been a problem.

I suspect we wanted to take Navas as it's got very late in the day for us to go out and sign a replacement.

Had there been two months left of the window we may have just taken the cash and signed another keeper.

Wouldn't bother me in the slightest if it was United that scuppered the deal. Indications are though that the blame lies at RM's door.

As for DDG, I'd much prefer he commits to a new contract now with United. If not, wouldn't be displeased to see him sat in the stands. If he doesn't want to play for the club, we should allow him not to play.

Are you being serious? DDG threw such a strop that the manager feels he cannot trust him to play football, despite the fact that he is paid millions.

He agreed a deal with Real Madrid months ago by all accounts, without permission from his employers, and then sulked when he didn't get his way.

Are you seriously suggesting that DDG is blameless in all this? Wow.

Links/videos to any of the above being true.

I usually ignore your comments as you are the thickest person on this forum but on this one occasion I will humour you.

1) LVG has stated clearly that DDG is not in the right frame of mind to play. If you need evidence for this then where the hell have you been for the last month?

2) It has been reported extensively - including by Balague again today - that DDG agreed terms with Real months ago.

3) It is clear when you read the time line of events that there was no time spent agreeing terms with DDG - this indicates that there was no need since terms were already agreed.

4) Unless DDG is paid less then anyone else in our squad, it is fair to say that he earns millions.

5) Why do people keep saying that we have left ourselves with an unhappy player unless we accept that DDG had his heart set on leaving? And why would he have his heart set on leaving if he had not even spoken to Madrid?

Not sure which part of my comment your brain struggles with but how exactly do you expect me to post videos of any of the above? And more to the point why would I do so to satisfy the thickest United fan on ja606?

The difference between us is that I can use my brain to deduce these facts - I don't just believe what I read in the press as you evidently do....otherwise you would not have asked for links as though links and videos somehow "prove" anything.

You are clutching at straws to get in a few shots at United. This board has mostly been so so so very critical of our manager and our management recently that to say that we only want to consider our club in the best light is absurd. You would only have to go back a few hours to find some self criticism.
======================

I'm really not. You are though which is why you've had to digress into other criticisms of your club to back up your point.

Other criticisms have nothing to do with the transfer of DDG.

We let Raheem go to join the club of his dreams, no hard feelings off ya go lad and the best of luck, poor DDG is trapped in a prison he was promised a way out of.

So you think that all along Manchester Utd Football Club wanted £22m and a £5m keeper for the twice player of the year do you?

You have no credibility on that point I'm afraid Vidic.

It's all very well rubbishing other opinions which are based extensive reporting but you actually have nothing at all.

I haven't claimed anything with regards to what price we expected as the fee.

I don't need any credibility. I am not the one plucking commoents out of my bottom.

So no evidence of anything you said then.

It is clear you believe reports/LVG opinions when it suits your agenda argument, but at the same time will ignore reports from Madrid/DDG camp when it doesn't fit your argument.

Again no actually evidence of anything, just Lvg opinion and newspaper reports.

The deal is apparently valued at £29m.

That's the second most expensive keeper of all time after Buffon. With him having a year left on his contract I'm not sure why you think we'd have been expecting much more than that.
