I think Utd have just lost 29 million pounds for 1 season of DDG not at his best

Why are people acting as thought its definitely madrid's fault
..............
Because some people have some intelligence.
There was no reason for Madrid to leave it all this late.
They could have wrapped this all up five minutes after the window opened.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well if Man Utd received the contracts at 23:32 and Utd only entered the details at 00:00 on the dot then it doesn't leave anything for Real who got the documents at 00:02 which is past the deadline.
That's before we look at why Utd took eight hours (13:39 to 21:43) to send them back with alterations on it.
Wake me up before you MoPo
How do you know that? Does everybody perform significantly worse for a whole year when a move doesn't work out?
He'll be annoyed no doubt but he's still young and he will make the move sooner or later. For his own good he will try and get back to form and show everyone what he is capable of.
UNited should respond with a simple one liner official statement along the lines of; "Man Utd notes the statement made from Real Madrid. We believe 3 months is long enough for buying clubs to proceed with negotiations and transfers of interested players. we wish to make no further comment on the matter" i.e. youve had three months fools!

The second part of that is conjecture. I wouldn't be surprised to see DDG playing with focus and determination.

looks like United tried to drag it out until the last second and Real had no chance of completing the deal
unless these details are lies of course

Maybe because we have other transfers to sort out as well. Transfers don't stop just for Real.

Still better than anyone we have at the moment, so that will do the club nicely!

If all this was true and United is to blame but Madrid aren't, why ain't they appealing? What a bunch of babies, facking trouble every time we deal with those tosspots.
Got a feeling this isn't done yet...
Ronaldo knew he was leaving in his last season and still performed to a very high standard, why wouldnt De Gea do the same.

We would need to use a very small font, or have really wide paper for that one liner.

I'm pretty certain we we're also tying up our own business with Martial for quite a lot of the day. Madrid facked up.

The windows been open for weeks, complaining because we took 8 hours to respond is the grand scheme of things is rather silly.
@Mata
I don't think the other club not really wanting the deal to go through is grounds for appeal.
Over here we know what happened. Madrid tried to bargain for a price reduction at the last minute - typical. At least they'll be weaker this year! Visca Barça!
I wonder if the guy who wrote this Real Madrid statement is the same guy that wrote the match report for the Chelsea website when they got battered by City?
melton
I'm sure there's ways around it. Could we release him from his contract and receive payment from Real for 'other' things? Or maybe a loan where we make the loan payment the same as the transfer fee?

We should send it by fax to RM or maybe as a Word processor file password protected.
so we have their keeper and they don't have ours?
