You think these people threatening violence should be ignored? Is that not what created this situation in the first place, the powers at be ignoring the populace.

Surely they will have to delay the triggering of Article50. Can understand why the guy resigned though. His talk of 10 year trade deal negotiations probably went down like a lead balloon in Downing Street. It's also unlikely that many Leave voters would be happy with anything other than a hard Brexit, while others would be furious with that. Either way scapegoats will be found and folk will end out thrown under the bus.

The majority spoke, but that majority is split as to what to do next. Its a complete mess.

In fairness if you see the rhetoric that Trump has used towards General Motors the last few days. Basically saying if they manufacture in Mexico then expect huge trade tariffs. Ford have already cancelled a factory in Mexico as a result. We may be moving into an era of extreme trade protectionism. If that is the case the UK may need to just bend over in order to ensure they are part of the EU trade block.
