Judas could quite easily leave QPR. Even Mad Mel can't be that mad!!!

Seems like the majority are in favour of him leaving ?

Odd ( in my opinion )

Think GR will go and I am not too bothered if he does or doesn't. The football played was often dire which fans can forgive provided that the results are good. Do we go for in house with DW, outside experienced e.g. Big Sam, Moyes, a foreign manager e.g. Igor or an up and coming manager.

I think the best chance of promotion would be Big Sam.

He'll be expensive Spart. It doesn't really fit with the noises Mel has been making.
It may not be a mouth-watering prospect but DW and his knowledge of the youth players at our club could be worth a punt.
A few are knocking and the door and Rowett hasn't been prepared to take the risk.
Mel may give DW license to play the kids not only because he's been consistently banging on about it but by giving them a shot we could uncover a gem or two.

Wonder if Rowett will take Kev Phillips with him.?

Wouldn't mind DW, he made a few errors last time and I expect he has heeded the lesson. I don't think he had the respect of some of the senior players last time becaue of those errors but the football played was far better than under Pearson or Rowett.

More of a problem if Rowett goes is the number of absolutely terrible toxic managers who always seem to get jobs but are out of work at the moment due to failing yet again..

Hopefully Mel has more sense than to appoint one of them tho.

Igor isn't the answer either. His record as a manager is diabolical.

Surprised Alan Pardew hasn't been mentioned

P.S ( NO!!!!!!!!! )

I prefer Rowett to stay. He has not done as well as I had hoped and I agree with the gist of the comments about giving younger players a go and the style of football. But he seems to have done pretty much what Morris brought him in for. It isn't his fault that a significant proportion of the squad remains under contract who he would probably have preferred to have got rid of and you could argue that this has limited progress. Maybe if we had not flown up the table when we did he would have played more youngsters. Having got to second it became a case of what we have we try to hold and that seemed reasonable at the time. Sometimes circumstances dictate the choices you make. I think he has done well enough to continue but like others I would hope for a better balanced team with younger players and more attacking intent next season. Maybe that's not something he is prepared to do. If he goes I give him a seven out of ten.

Signing any one of the following (assuming GR is going) would be madness:

Fat Sam (extra greedy example of a human being)
Moyes (FFS do me a favour)
Pardew (ditto)
Pearson (well Mac came back for another go)
Lambert

Any thoughts on Marco Silva though?

If we are in serious doo-doo with regard to FFP then Mick McCarthy would be the best choice. IF, I said, not otherwise.

Have you thought about applying for the job Vidal or is it just the England job you are after.

After listening to Gareth Southgate on the radio following his squad announcement last week, I started coming round to him a bit, (it was refreshing not to hear the normal "footie" platitudes and general bull-crap) ....................................

Then I realised he said Phil Jones was the best centre-half in the country, oh dear.

I am inspired by your implied encouragement, Spart, but I feel I would be too emotionally attached to do it well. My dream job is Forest as it happens. I would meld the better qualities of 'Arry and Artoo to ensure a devastation from which there would be no recovery.

Agree with every word of that.
The best thing about Rowett leaving might be that he takes some of the higher-payed players with him and decreases the wage bill.
I suspect that Griff would welcome one transfer in particular
