I'd like to buy GR a drink and get the skinny on this one.

Has Mel lined up some decent 'if GR goes replacements??'

If we are going into austerity can we get someone who can get us knocking the ball about again. I suggest SM that way we have GR's 4-2-3-1 and 3-5-1-1 Plan B and C and then the 4-3-3 CM to come back, a Robbie Van Der Laan and a promotion.

Too perfect to fail.

Let's go for Mikel Arteta. Keen to try his hand at managing, be a good first job for him and he's served as a coach under pep and a player under wenger so just imagine the football he would get us playing.

Derby through and through my bum, he can feck right off Now, even if it falls through his time is done here.

At least that pasty Spaniard is in employment or else he's be linked.

Cheers to the dogs for that, bet he's ripping, jumped the gun to go to that shower.

100% agree Igor
He's asked to talk to them which means he wants to go so he can feck off and leave.
Not worried if he does go anyway.
Dire football grinding out results.

I wonder if Wenger himself might fancy a shot. He said the timing of his departure at Arsenal wasn't entirely of his choosing I believe, suggesting he may fancy another season in management. He hardly needs the money, and does like to bring development players through so might fancy his hand at a Championship job for a change of pace.

I think MM might be a factor in a) GR departure and b)incoming's.

I'd love for Wenger to come in but I think he'll need the structure above him to be in a better state of affairs. I think MM has calmed down this year but do feel direction depends on him solely and that might be an off putter for a lot of managers. Especially if they have a managers WhatsApp group.

Karanka now odds on favourite.

Thinks GR laid the foundations of dire football that only he can take to the next level.

Stimac at 5/1, Warburton & Simmo 6's, McCarthy 7's here 2W.

Imagine the possible mix-up with trackie tops if Mick McCarthy gets the job.

As much as I would love Igor, I'd hate his reputation tarnished here if things did go belly up unt makes you think being paraded at the ground only weeks ago.

Maybe Bilic as the scapegoat coach and Igor in the background might be a better idea.

Keogh now controls the ball on his own goal line, flicks it onto his head a 1-2 with Mitchell, Cruyff turn on the penalty spot, round the world past the last striker, flicks the ball up off his back heel, shoulder pass to the onrushing Bradley Johnson, step over, step over, step over, nutmeg, hocus pocus into a Ronny from the increasingly confident Johnson. Heel lob back to Butters. A forward pass from Jacob Butterfield, the crowd are going wild the ball acutally went forward and into the onrushing Abdoul Camara making his 2nd debut for Derby. Top of the world, Bang Bang, zoom zoom and a simple lay off for Conor Sammon. 1-0.

This is the football dreams are made of.

Ahhhhhhhdacious football from the Derby boys.

I'm not recommending it, btw.
The more I think about it, the more I like the Simmo option.

Oh dear Derby.
Gets Rowett in, sells young players Ince, Hughes, buys Huddlestone and Jerome, goes on a terrible run taking you from 2nd to 6th, messes up a 1-0 lead in playoffs, then leaves club for Stoke and To think,he is a Derby fan!!
Fair play Gary.
