Definitely not as much as some religious loonies in NI who think the world is 6000 years old. They run our country now.

HRSC has considerable heft and influence so we will see what happens
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But I'd wager not as much as the Tregunter Rd SW10 branch of the WI?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No organisation has as much influence as the mysterious and shadowy Tregunter Rd SW10 WI.......

Spart, I can't believe more isn't made of the fact that our government is propped-up by a bunch of loonies who were brought for a £billion?

Obviously suits the establishment, so it's OK.

It's £1bn well spent if it keeps that tw@t Corbyn out of No.10.

I like the new shirts but I'm worried that poor old Hanson will have to give up his number 26 shirt to JT when he arrives. Frank will probably take the number 8 off Anya and I hope Kevin Hector gets the number 10 from Lawrence. Didier Drogba will wear number 11.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Only a total tw@ would make a comment like that. So you think democracy is served by handing power to a minority of religious bigots?

Why are you frightened of Corbyn? Is it because he's not idiotic enough to spend his money on overpriced junk because he has an inferiority complex. When you are a nobody, buying something with someone else's name on makes you more of one, as well as making you less wealthy.

I’m not frightened of Corbyn, Just fearful of the mess the UK would become if he ever had a say. Also he hates the industry I’m in so it’d be like turkeys voting for that religious thing near the winter solstice.

That's the truest thing ever written, Hector is a thousand times better than little Tommy, I wonder what JT will make of him.

I didn't want Lampard as manager as I though we should go for someone with experience. After listening and watching his press conference I've changed my mind, I think/hope he will do well for us as long as he takes the job seriously and doesn't turn us into the Chelsea Pensioners team.

I'm even getting rather excited for our club's future, I'm hoping for some decent football and hope he can get Martin fit and playing. I like proper footballers, not hit and run merchants.

P.S. Bring back Will.

This appointment will either be a resounding success or a tragic failure. A real throw of the die by Mel.

Frank is bright, media savvy and has a wealth of connections in the game. Good things to bring to the party. My first hope is that we find a midfielder who can pass and keep possession. Perhaps a miracle can be worked on Jacob Butterfield.

So, fellow DCFC posters, what WOULD constitute:-
1/ Success by Frank
2/ Resounding success by Frank?

Bear in mind that we/I thought we would never get to a play-off position this year. So technically GR was a success.

Not if you predicted us as Champions he wasn't.

For Frank. Upper play-offs would be a minimum for me.

I also have a number of demands regarding Scottish players but that is detail for another day

Champions League, obviously

Incidentally that marvellous all-rounder Keogh took 1-49 for Northants v Derbyshire. Northants need 114 from 12 overs
