Bloody Corbyn and his magic money tree to the rescue.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, that’ll be the same magic money tree that the Tories have magically found just before an election.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That magic tree is called borrowing.
Conservatives hav said about £20bn extra borrowing, which sets a new cap of about 3% of GDP.
Labour are proposing £55bn extra borrowing, about 5% of GDP. Last time it was this high, 1976, Britain faced financial crisis. The Labour government was forced to apply to the IMF for a loan of nearly $4 billion. IMF negotiators insisted on deep cuts in public expenditure, greatly affecting economic and social policy.
Brings to mind the famous quote, Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Jeremy, the 1970s are calling, they want their policies back!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah yes, the 1970’s, when education was free, people got paid a decent wage for the work they did, and youngsters could actually afford to leave home and get a place or their own before the age of 40.
How awful.

Money should be spent elsewhere.

I work in IT alongside network and infrastructure engineers.
Any idea how much infrastructure will be needed to be put in place to provide network access to 10s of millions of people!?
It'd be a hugely costly exercise. To make it worthwhile, quick and accessible, billions would probably need to be spent. Then you'd need to compensate the major corporations that'd be hurt from loss of income.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Billions WILL be spent.

So, if you don't want Corbyn, you automatically want these things:
You want schools to be underfunded and open part time
You want there to be too few Police
You want nurses to be underpaid
You want chidlren to be hungry
You want people dying on the streets
You want people failed on their health assessments on purpose
You want your own citizens to be deported after 50 years here
You want Grenfell
You want poor public services
Outstanding levels of debate here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No one has actually said you want those things if you don't vote Corbyn. They have said those are the things that happen under the Tories and if you vote for them you are complicit.
If you are going to try and join people on a high horse, at least put your foot in the stirrup first.
You'll need to learn to do that if you are going to join the Tories on their fox hunts.

Or just tax people properly. Why is so hard to understand? Look at who donates to the Tory party, look at who owns the telegraph and where they live. Wake up!!
Either way if they can find £500bn to bail out their banking mates and spend umtpeen billions more on murder submarines they can afford to let their citizens starve.
Schools are barely open five days a week, kids are hungry, people are dying, the NHS is being sold off.
What's wrong with people that they can be okay with this?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye spending 80bn on Broadband will fix the above. Bailing out banks was a bad thing? As if that helped bankers and not everyone?
His plans for tax will see a lot more jobs leave the UK.

It should be free, like you say its becoming an essential part of life, companies are making billions off our complete addiction (while often necessary) to the Internet.
I don't think it ever will actually be completely free but if Labour can tax large providers more and get that money used to reduce cost, make some places free WiFi etc. It's a start.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Go back and look at what was said.
It's quite clearly implied.

Something needs doing about broadband though, we can only get superfast at ours, ultrafast still not available ffs it's 2019 we shouldn't be living in these conditions. Whoever can bring ultrafast to my postcode will get a vote from me. And that's coming from a big dial up fan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair, there are a lot of areas where it isn't available and private corporations have no interest in building the infrastructure there are its not profitable for them.
Broadband is becoming a key infrastructure in this country and infrastructure that is key to the economy and its citizens should be publicly controlled.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It should be free, like you say its becoming an essential part of life, companies are making billions off our complete addiction (while often necessary) to the Internet.
I don't think it ever will actually be completely free but if Labour can tax large providers more and get that money used to reduce cost, make some places free WiFi etc. It's a start.

Aye spending 80bn on Broadband will fix the above. Bailing out banks was a bad thing? As if that helped bankers and not everyone?
His plans for tax will see a lot more jobs leave the UK.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Explain why his tax plans will see businesses leave the UK? We currently have lower corporation tax than most major EU nations and the US.
Do you think the corporations only set up here because of low tax and it has nothing to do with infrastructure and the populace?

Or being in the largest most successful trade bloc on the planet
