Aye spending 80bn on Broadband will fix the above. Bailing out banks was a bad thing? As if that helped bankers and not everyone?

His plans for tax will see a lot more jobs leave the UK.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Explain why his tax plans will see businesses leave the UK? We currently have lower corporation tax than most major EU nations and the US.

Do you think the corporations only set up here because of low tax and it has nothing to do with infrastructure and the populace?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's mental mate the way some people seem to think!

Of course Brexit is the reason why so many jobs will be lost, but you know freedom
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It is ironic that most of the people complaining about Corbyn and his economic policies, will quite happily vote for Brexit which is going to have a massive economic impact.

I have yet to see one person tell me a good reason to vote Tory that doesn't involve them talking about Corbyn. At least Labour have some policies to talk about.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well that’s made up opinion. Was the traditional labour voting areas that voted to leave, bar Scotland.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You mean the areas that the Tories are targeting to win back by pushing Brexit and their anti-Corbyn propaganda?

Aye borrow money to give me that please.

Who cares about the kids, they can deal with the mess.
============

Or just tax people properly. Why is so hard to understand? Look at who donates to the Tory party, look at who owns the telegraph and where they live. Wake up!!

Either way if they can find £500bn to bail out their banking mates and spend umtpeen billions more on murder submarines they can afford to let their citizens starve.

Schools are barely open five days a week, kids are hungry, people are dying, the NHS is being sold off.

What's wrong with people that they can be okay with this?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Many of these problems have arisen as a consequence of the financial crisis and the policies that followed.

If you compare it to football it's like the next round of TV money being way less than now, overnight. Its a fact that people would lose their jobs, cuts would have to be made, there would be suffering,

If you think these issues from the financial crisis are exclusively as a result of Tory policy then you are blinkered.....Labour had our borrowing at sky high levels in the good times....it was like being successful and well paid was not enough, we also had to max out our credit cards and sell off family assets cheaply because we wanted to spend more and more and more.

This is what many people fear because Labour have historically been poor at managing the economy.

The mess we were left with made the deep cuts necessary and while Labour would have borrowed more and cut less that would put us into a position where right now, as we move clear of austerity our debt levels & annual borrowing would be way higher and so much of what we were gaining from a better economy would be used in paying debt. But there was no magic answer, suffering was inevitable. Our spending and borrowing have been slashed but at least that means now that they can increase within a reasonable range (although Labours 5% of GDP is not reasonable IMO). If they were high already then we'd have nowhere to go with extra borrowing and investment.

To make this a choice of suffering under Tories and Happiness and Joy under labour is totally false. EVERYTHING needs to be paid for. Labour's spending simply kicks the 'suffering can' down the road to deal with later.

What if we hit recession in 2 or 3 years. Look at Germany, strongest Euro economy, just avoided it this year...What happens with our sky high borrowing under Labour then? Even greater suffering is the answer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Brexit is predicted to cost our economy £700Billion A YEAR for the next 20 years.

Factor that in and then get back to me about Labour borrowing.

Explain why his tax plans will see businesses leave the UK? We currently have lower corporation tax than most major EU nations and the US.

Do you think the corporations only set up here because of low tax and it has nothing to do with infrastructure and the populace?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

There has been an increase in tax revenue following recent cuts to the corp tax rate.

Looking at probably the biggest contributing industry, financial services have already seen jobs lost with Brexit with more planned. Raising the corp tax rate by 10% would have an impact.

While I agree the personal tax increases Labour would introduce I don’t the corp tax ones.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They have not proposed to increase it by 10%. As far as I have seen they have proposed to increase it back to 2011 levels.

You also expect the cash value of corporation tax to increase each year as the economy grows. It is very myopic only to look at it in those terms (which is what the Tories want and what they try with the NHS when only talking monetary values).

The rate against GDP has dipped several times and it has decreased as a percentage of the overall government intake. The monetary rates also ignore the measures that have been put in place to avoid losing revenue overseas, which although they don't go far enough (look at Jacob Rees-Mogg's company) they have had some impact. Government reports have also stated that intake would have increased if the rate was higher.

In terms of Brexit, that is going to have a far bigger impact than any of Corbyn's policies. I don't want to leave the EU anyway.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Pretty sure 2011 rates would mean a 10% rise....

I don’t want Brexit either, but the idea Labour could negotiate a deal following a people’s say in a few months is farcical. Would leave us in the exact same position.

Currently I can only see it as picking between two devils if you don’t vote Liberal.

So, if you don't want Corbyn, you automatically want these things:

You want schools to be underfunded and open part time
You want there to be too few Police
You want nurses to be underpaid
You want chidlren to be hungry
You want people dying on the streets
You want people failed on their health assessments on purpose
You want your own citizens to be deported after 50 years here
You want Grenfell
You want poor public services

Outstanding levels of debate here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No one has actually said you want those things if you don't vote Corbyn. They have said those are the things that happen under the Tories and if you vote for them you are complicit.

If you are going to try and join people on a high horse, at least put your foot in the stirrup first.

You'll need to learn to do that if you are going to join the Tories on their fox hunts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Go back and look at what was said.

It's quite clearly implied.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So you made an assumption.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No, I didn't.

I inferred from the post.

Hope this helps.

I think remain would win in a second referendum too.

How can you factor that in, when Labours policy on Brexit is errr, wait, wait, wait, hang on, err it's we've leaving, or staying or renegotiating then we may leave. How does one study the impact of that shambles other than at least another year of Brexit uncertainty which is stifling the growth of the economy. People, business, investors are sitting on money waiting for it to end so they can get on with running their business.....In my firm we want to employ 2 new people and move offices....all on hold until Brexit is done. Uncertainty is a killer. People spend less, they take less risks in life and in business, theydont move house, they dont buy a new car as they dont know whats round the corner. It needs to end.

It was also predicted that we'd hit recession and 400000 people would lose their jobs on the back of a Brexit vote. More people employed than ever before and our economy out performing germany right now !

You want your own citizens to be deported after 50 years here
You want Grenfell
You want poor public services

Outstanding levels of debate here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No one has actually said you want those things if you don't vote Corbyn. They have said those are the things that happen under the Tories and if you vote for them you are complicit.

If you are going to try and join people on a high horse, at least put your foot in the stirrup first.

You'll need to learn to do that if you are going to join the Tories on their fox hunts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Go back and look at what was said.

It's quite clearly implied.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So you made an assumption.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No, I didn't.

I inferred from the post.

Hope this helps.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Inference:
a guess that you make or an opinion that you form based on the information that you have

So you guessed then.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Its currently 19% and in 2011 it was 26%. That is a 7% rise.

I don't think it is farcical. They want to negotiate staying in the single market and customs union. Its a much simpler deal than the one Boris is trying to screw everyone with.

That is basically remaining!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I mean your nonsense about most of the people is completely made up opinion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It wasn't made up. It was an observation about ja606 based on the politics threads. You turned it into something it isn't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Your observation.... I don’t like Corbyn and I didn’t vote for Brexit
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Then you don't fall into the most.
