I've just been looking at the lower league news , Portsmouth are saying fans won't be allowed into the ground until October at the earliest and that's being optimistic
The season is over.
Dutch league officially cancelled.
No title awarded, league positions stand, and no relegation.

So unjust and so unfair. The team in the next division were 12 points clear and on the cusp of being promoted to the top league. So unjust it’s unreal, ridiculous
Ajax and Alkmaar were level on points at the top.
Best decision there, but it seems there will be protests because the teams in the 2nd div being denied promotion.

I propose the season gets bloody completed so it’s fair and not unjust. Voiding a season has now f*** the chances of that small club gaining promotion and getting the royalties that come with it. How would you feel if that was you’re club and that was the reason why it went bust for instance ? The season should be completed when safe to do so, ie behind closed doors for now. It’s the only fair way of concluding it. Completely unjust and unfair.

who cares about positions if there's no title or relegation. the cl only affects a few teams in each country. means nothing to me when i've been waiting 15 years to be promoted.
Some common sense and straight thinking applied by the Dutch here, yes it is unfair on a handful of clubs, but it would be unfair on many many more clubs if their season was concluded in any other way.
This decision limits damage to an absolute minimum and is the correct course of action for the vast majority.
Don bud, you are sounding more and more like a Mouser with every passing day, we are Spurs fans, we do not abandon our team at the first sign of problems, we follow our team through thick and thin and are not the type of people who jump on bandwagons.

I think to make things fair across the board, the table should be reflected based on a club's result against the other 19 clubs in the league.
For those situations where two clubs have already faced each other twice, then points should be awarded based on the overall aggregate. If the aggregate is level after those two matches, then its an overall draw.
For example, Man United played Newcastle twice this season.
The results were...
6/10/2019 Newcastle 1 - 0 United
26/12/2019 United 4 - 1 Newcastle
Although Newcastle won their home match back in October, United would take three points since the overall aggregate would be 4-2. Newcastle would lose the three points they gained in the first match.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What I find funny about this is that I actually think you are serious
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's wrong with it?
How about pointing out why it's not the right thing to do instead of just laughing about it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I wouldnt even know where to start to be honest. But it sound like you are serious so il try.
Firstly, if Newcastle knew that this would be the rules then at 2-1 down they could have stuck all players behind the ball to hold out for an aggregate draw. Instead, they didn't and probably tried to push for a goal to get them back into the game and ended up being beaten by more. They had no reason to not try and do this but if you change that now then they could argue that they would have played the game out a different way.
It just seems to far fetch in my opinion.
There's no way everybody wins here, to finish the season means cancelling the Euros, let's face it, that's not happening.

You certainly wouldn’t be saying all this if Spurs were top of the league mate. Guaranteed you wouldn’t be all over the void route. I’m just a fair football supporter and it’s incredibly unfair and unjust on certain teams. A small team in the lower Dutch division is 12 points clear and now won’t be promoted, complete bulls**

Honestly if Spurs were top I’d be fuming with what’s happened (in football terms, I recognise people’s health and the economy is more important). It’s hugely unfortunate for Liverpool as they were gonna win the league at a canter. Even if they are awarded the league it’s an anticlimactic way of doing it

So unjust and so unfair. The team in the next division were 12 points clear and on the cusp of being promoted to the top league. So unjust it’s unreal, ridiculous
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What do you propose? Teams are relegated with 10 games left
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I propose the season gets bloody completed so it’s fair and not unjust.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not been voided though, positions still stand.
Just no title or relegation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
who cares about positions if there's no title or relegation. the cl only affects a few teams in each country. means nothing to me when i've been waiting 15 years to be promoted.

Dutch league officially cancelled.
No title awarded, league positions stand, and no relegation.

Yes I get that mate, but the league should resume when safe to do so. Behind closed doors. Get the season sorted is the only fair and legitimate way of ending things.
