We can travel up to 5km from today and golf courses are open in 2 weeks
The one that really gets me is when they knew what was coming so decided to issue advice not to go to pubs etc, but didn't actually close anything.
I think that was at least a week before lockdown. Imagine how many lives could have been saved and the virus' impact limited if they had locked down then as they should have.

While it certainly has not been all roses over here during this, the UK has approx 13 times our population and 25 times the deaths.
The initial plan by the government followed by failures to learn from Spain and Italy has almost definitely caused some deaths that may heave been avoided.

When the tories have done well they've been rightly praised, the induction of furlough and committing to paying people who can't work was rightly praised.
Its the lack of accountability that's the problem and every government must be held to task, its literally their job.

Any news article on Twitter about the virus response/tories is packed with comments from bots bigging up the tories. Whether they hired people to do this or it’s a Russian thing I’m not sure.

The one that really gets me is when they knew what was coming so decided to issue advice not to go to pubs etc, but didn't actually close anything.
I think that was at least a week before lockdown. Imagine how many lives could have been saved and the virus' impact limited if they had locked down then as they should have.
Pure incompetence.

It’s worse than I’ve ever seen it. There was also fake NHS nurse accounts posting about how much PPE they had that were all deleted when somebody started investigating them.

Not every decision made in a time of crisis will be right, I think the vast majority will accept this once there is acknowledgement. Instead I see Piers fecking Morgan being the only one really holding MPs to account and still people say he's scaremongering and should not criticise the government.

While it certainly has not been all roses over here during this, the UK has approx 13 times our population and 25 times the deaths.
The initial plan by the government followed by failures to learn from Spain and Italy has almost definitely caused some deaths that may heave been avoided.
