I'd be absolutely amazed if Spurs finished above us.
They'll drop out of the cups early, flop in the CL, then have half decent league form and finish top four but potless again I'd imagine.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s because they’ll do that it could happen if Liverpool are aren’t at the same levels they’ve been.
Since Conte doesn't do cups, it could happen if Spurs don't get too many injuries. I can see a scenario where Spurs finish above Liverpool but win nothing while liverpool win one or two cups. Then Spurs fans will claim it as a trophy.

Liverpool only won two domestic cups last year on penalties. And they were their first domestic cups for years, so I would be amazed if they had that luck again.

Yes but over the last 40 it isn't which is about as relevant as what you have just written.
Only skimming over the comments (and seeing people/person rewriting history of Mane already).
The point gap last season is a false reference point considering the fact that Spurs had two contrasting halves of the season. From after the January transfer window onwards we werent a million miles away from Liverpool and only consistently slipped up against the teams where we couldn't break down the opposition due to weak fullback play.
Liverpool have lost one of their most key players and Diaz looks to be a good replacement there are a lot of people unsure about the Nunez signing. Spurs haven't signed anyone who guarentee's a first place spot - but also have strengthened areas of weakness.
As it stands right now, I think Spurs will finish within the 80-86 point range and Liverpool have a bigger range between the 83-93 point range - so its conceivable but Liverpool are the favourites.
I seriously don't see Livetpool getting anywhere near 90 points next season. Mane gone, and they were showing signs of tapering off, especially in the CL final, where they barely turned up. Spurs held them comfortably at Anfield, and really should have won the game.
I may be wrong, but we shall see.

Liverpool may be better than us but we stopped them winning the league
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn't you take 6 points off City and 2 points off us?
How's that work then?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
😂😂😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah bless these little spudlings
It's a laugh a minute
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because you ended a point behind City and the last points you dropped were to Spurs. Does it need explaining to you what would have happened if you'd beaten Spurs???
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But the only reason we were close to City (to play your bizarre logic) is because you took 6 points from them. Had they done the double over you, they'd have finished 7 clear.
This makes no sense
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My bizarre logic
Despite Spurs beating City twice, and all the other results that happened since day 1 of the season, Liverpool were in a position to win the league at 530pm on May 7th 2022. If they had won their remaining games, they would have. Sadly for them they dropped points to Spurs, 2 points lost that were ultimately very costly.

Mane going is a valid point but we literally went P19 W16 D3 L0 from Jan 1st until the end of the season, so no idea where this tapering off comes from.
8 more points than anyone else in 2022.

Conte is a top manager, but behind Pep and Klopp imo.
Spurs should be a shoe in for top four (unless Conte throws a wobbly and jacks it in) but I can’t see anyone other than City and Liverpool in the top two.
