We could have Morrison back for £10m. A very promising young english player, like barkley, who we used to have at the club.

With similar (and better) stats, playing for a lesser team

Januzaj is as good and younger

Heard rumors of that happening this jan SE85, along with powell coming back. Rather did that, see how it goes til summer and blow a shed load on a player whos done ok for 4 months......£50m gets cesc ffs, who would you have right now at united???

The thing about Morrison though is his attitude and off the field stuff. His ability is NOT in question. He's more talented than most of our current midfielders.

I don't think he'll be returning to the club, unless the rumors of what happened when he was here are greatly exaggerated.

Looks every bit as talented as barkley to me though.

Januzaj is more talented than Barkley too.

we could probably get Pogba back for less than 50m and he's better than all the players mentioned in this thread(probably haven't read it tbh )

By a mile! Seen some crackers but januzaj apart from roonie and giggs at that age is as good as anything ive seen

I would quite like to see Barkley play a number of games in midfield though, rather than at number 10 behing Lukaku.

....

Let's not get as carried away at the Evertonian! Januzaj looks fantastic, but he still has a lot to learn.

Yeah they are just worried they will lose yet another star to a bigger club.

Saying he's got more potential than Rooney though Jesus christ, it seems all scousers are as deluded.

Has he not seen what Rooney has gone on to do and achieve? Talk about over hyping somebody. That's a lot of pressure on that young lads's shoulders.

If Barkley goes on to achieve half of what Rooney has, he'll be very very lucky indeed.

Stretford I only say it because the guy who discovered them both and let's face it is more qualified than anyone on here says it. Thems the facts, will he realise his talent and go on to be better than Rooney is all down to Ross.

Fair price.

Why is this Stretford guy mentioning goals? There's more to football than just goals.

He is also thinks Feillani was a better number 10 cause he scored more? My days. Guy is really insane.

Goals and assists are quite important for the no.10 role

He stays at Everton, he won't get anywhere close to achieving what Rooney has.

is there?

Making ten Pretty passes on the trot get you a goal?

NO!!!!

Scoring goals is ALL that matters.

Nobody is disputing Barkley is not a talent and has great potential. He is and he has.

But to say he's got more than Rooney is pure laughable. And like Ruiney says above......3 goals in 18PL apps at number 10 is not exactly amazing is it?

posted on 31/12/13

Indeed stretford, that's why he will eventually have to move unless something unforseen happens under Martinez. I see him at one of the big guns of European football though not united and not for a few years yet.

Assists yes. Goals not so much. A no 10's to create first, score later.

posted on 31/12/13

Stretford, you say it's laughable but the guy who discovered them both, clearly an eye for talent and let's face it is his job says it, you keep conveniently ignoring that little fact.

He's got ZERO assists in the PL this season, Kamran.

Blackbeard

This guy who discovered him. Who is it out of interest and does he still work for Everton?

posted on 31/12/13

Ray hall and no he's retired.

I think Barkley would do well in a box to box role, in a 4-3-3 formation.
