No but for him to say something so bold he must surely truly believe it and with his track record of talent scouting I'd be inclined to believe him.

no-one's getting upset, its called debate, we're arguing the case for Rooney youre arguing the case for Barkley, dont get upset that we rate Rooney more than Barkley
It's not enough to mindlessly repeat Barkley is more talented than Rooney. What does he do better? Score more, create more, pass it better, better awareness, technically superior, more maturity? What does he do better exactly? Cos all I see is an English Dembele who can move through the gears bursting past players in midfield but lacking in a little extra craft and somewhat naive.

Sheriff, potential is hard to say. Some players ooze it at a young age (Messi, Ronaldo, etc.) Others become great such as Bale or Henry. Ross could be like Bale or end up as that Striker Everton once sold to Arsenal. Only time will tell.

While I actually rate Barkley high as I've said numerous times, I do generally agree with what you've said there. The fact that the same scout that worked with them both rates Barkley higher doesn't have any affect on my opinion, which is based on what I actually see.
Deulofeu will be a class player but they are different he's a winger, we are very lucky to have such quality youth players this season, even McCarthy can be included in that bracket, I'd say Coleman but he's 24 now so not really a youth.
Why havent united got a chance to sign barkley??? Or are you going to seriously debate that everton are much bigger than united?!
