Perfect opportunity for him. Unfortunately it looks like injuries might stop him becoming a top player.

It’s been such a weird window. Letting all our youngsters go out on loan, which is good for games, but we have got 50/60 games this season, and if we can’t keep the injuries down, are going to struggle i think.

If Mac gets injured I would be very worried. Jones has already got his first injury.

Who is our 5th choice CB? Konate and Gomez with suspect records could leave us vulnerable. Last season Quansah was 5th choice and was needed.

The squad is much weaker now than it was at the start of the window, considering most players barely had a preseason I do not like our chances with injuries!

I do think that Slot’s more controlled football will lead to less injuries especially the endless training injuries we suffered under Klopp.

Was it Klopps training and high intensity that caused all the injuries? Or was it the amount of games that were played last season?

Because a lot of teams had like 10/15 injuries at times which was ridiculous, and now with extra champions league games aswell as nations league international, it’s going to be brutal on the players.

Going to be impossible to avoid injuries. Jones is already impacted. Those CL and PL weeks are always brutal. Just hope we don't lose too many at once.
