Apparently it is a fantasy world where people care about people they haven't met before. That was you, right?

-

Some people care about people they've never met and never will.

Personally, i don't see the point.

The Oxfam adverts haven't changed in the last 25 years, despite us giving trillions of pounds in aid to other nations.

A realist that wants to live in a world where someone can decide not to hire someone due to the colour of their skin.

-

People should be able to hire whoever they want. Skin colour isn't even the real issue here.

There's no such thing as racism. There's just likes and dislikes. The whole argument is tiresome.

Yep, people still suffering despite the amount given. That doesn't mean you stop giving though. Cancer still hasn't been cured, shall we give up because there has been billions spent on research or do we celebrate that millions of lives have been saved and prolonged due to what we have been able to achieve so far.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

No because at least with cancer research the figures show vast improvements in treatements, cures and tech. Oxfam just show as many people as ever are dying of the same things. Thus, charity is a failed experiment.

I'd rather be taxed less and encourage them to help themselves. We've succeeded in creative a welfare state and now we're attempting to create welfare continents.

Anyone who think the Daily Mail is a socialist publication is either horribly misinformed or so right wing that they think being racist is a freedom of will issue.
