We aren't talking about bar owners or buses barring black people. We are talking about a business owner employing whomever he/she so chooses to work for the company that is HIS/HER livelihood
=====================
So there are different types of discrimination now flash?. This will be interesting.
Which discrimination is okay and which isn't just so I'm clear.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A business owner employing whoever they want to work for them isn't harming anyone.
A member of the Klan dragging someone behind their pickup is.
The difference is pretty staggering and shouldn't be difficult for someone to grasp. Even one as desperate to be offended as you.
This is normal, and there are loads of black coaches out there at all levels.
========================
Not employed there are not. Did you even read the link?

Well if you listen to some people on here the Rooney Rule is good.
No it's not. Positive Discrimination is still discrimination. The Rooney Rule would be a completely moronic idea. You employ people based on whether they're good enough for the job, not their colour. Having one token black guy being interviewed for the job that, if you were racially biased as is being suggested, you wouldn't get anyway!

Is it then racist if you look at it the other way around?
The owner of an Indian restaurant will only employ other Indians - is that racist, or down to his choice?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Idiot! You can't be racist against white people!

"Maybe not enough black coaches are getting themselves the proper qualifications?"
No maybe about it, it's common fecking sense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But they are.
-----------------------
The figures may have changed slightly since I read the article, but at the time, there were 8 living black British coaches with a UEFA Pro Licence. Do you think that is enough?
Im brown myself and don't see french as racist. I don't see a problem with what he's saying

So the racism aggrevating violence is the key inidicator of what's good discrimination and what's bad discrimination I take it.
What about harm created through more passive forms of discrimination?
Like not employing someone because they are black and I want white people. That's fine apparently.
Positive Discrimination does not exist, discrimination is discrimination.
Give it 5-10 years and there will be more black managers in the game. The current generation of managers is from a time where there were few black players - and a tiny percentage of those players will have gone on to become coaches. Now (and in the last 20 years or so) there are far more black players - ergo, more black managers.

You might if you wanted to work in his company.
A primary school in my area was marked down due to being too white even though only 75% was white yet another local school is 100% non white and is considered diverse

IT'S YOUR FREAKING BUSINESS AND LIVELIHOOD!
Honestly, if a non-white business owner rejected me based on my skin colour I would not be massively offended. I'd be relieved that it wasn't because my CV was terrible! People are entitled to work with and employ whomever they choose. The fact that you disagree shows that you have an overwhelming sense of entitlement which has been fed to you by this nanny state.

If you think there is no problem with that fine.

I applied for one at an Italian in uni and was told that although I 'look Italian' they wanted Italian speakers for authenticity. Fair enough if you ask me.

And do you think that 8 with UEFA Pro Licence is enough? You are asking why black coaches/managers aren't getting the top jobs in England,but don't you have to have the UEFA Pro Licence to manage in the PL?
