I'll in indulge this. Anecdotal evidence of this kind is nonsense that doesn't prove anything. It's from social media, I could do the same for almost any topic in the world if I had the time. It's dangerous and a blnot clever at all to have this attitude to social media and his is exactly how social media dupes people. Looks like sound evidence and many will be convinced by it but really it's nonsense.

It's possible to do the exact opposite. There'd be no shortage of material. I could find some right wingers and post their comments where they're defending or the guy or diluting the matter as if he was a white guy (because that was the general assumption, it wasn't just 'the left'. Then think that I'm making a strong point.

We are only just finding out the guy's background. Everyone thought he was white and so did the police when they encountered him. Fact is they encountered a man with light skin. They didn't know he was Syrian. In fact, if cops had prior knowledge that the guy was Syrian, who knows what would have happened to him...

...and so the argument of white supremacy playing a part is not defeated by what you posted above IMO.

Just find it a very superficial way of showing patriotism, if that is what it is for. Does it hit through with their target market?

I am commenting on an apparent change in policy as per the original link, combined with the uptick in recent weeks of flag presence on various calls of member of the government with the media. And I am wondering why the change. Why do you think there has been a change Fat Pranks?
