To be honest I don't think it's something I could do. It's easy to look at the perks like the wealth but the negatives would drive me mad.
Constantly having to act a certain way in public, not being able to do simple things like popping to the pub, spending multiple hours a day having to feign interest in everyone you meet, your every action and move being under the microscope etc. It's far worse than being famous due to being say an actor or footballer.
Personally don't envy them at all.

"But they're rich"
Will be the response to this of course.

They cannot even really spend the money they have. If Wills drove round in a Lambo, covered himself in tattoos and dripping in bling then he'd be hounded for it....its standard behaviour for your average millionaire sports personality, they have all the perks and can largely do WTF they like.

I dont like my neighbour. They spread lies about me when they didnt like an extension I built on my house. I do not wish them well.
However, I would not go and stand outside their funeral and heckle their family, shouting about what a dishonest nasty piece of work their relation was, even though i am entitled to. It would be in bad taste and show a complete lack of decency and respect for those grieving (even if I had no respect for the person who died).
Freedom of speech is a right we all have but abusing it or ill considered application of it will cause harm
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course doing that to your neighbour would be stupid, but your neighbour isn't the King. People who feel like this should quit the royal family then. Being a royal isn't just the good stuff alone, the perks come with a cost.
Anyone living a public life gives up some of their rights to privacy. You can't pick and choose when to be private and when to be public.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes you can, the Queen dod
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Clearly not as this is her funeral.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
She always had a private life. It would be intolerable otherwise. And no retirement, she had engagements up to her death
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Must have been so hard for her the poor soul. I'm sure nobody would want to live her life.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very few would if they thought about it. I would like to be rich, but would hate to be a royal. Would you, seriously?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd be an international playboy on yatchs, jets and exotic locations with insanely hot birds engaging in a battle royale with the winner getting to suck my balls and kock while I play Free Fire on BlueStacks on my designer laptop. I wouldn't need to pop out for anything as that's what servants are for.
So yes.
I've never wanted to be a member of the Royal Family because you live your life in a goldfish bowl.
Thing is now, Millions of people out there want everyone to know every detail about their lives and promote themselves tirelessly on FB, YouTube or Instagram.
I reckon the hate is driven by jealousy amongst certain groups.

So how did Andrew pull it off?
You are deceived by media. Any royal that wants to can live a life of crazy parties and awesome trips and adventures. The Royal media service would obviously never allow the media to report on those events and so the public would think my life is boring and repetitive.
Just ask Prince Andrew.
Amy media house that reported on my activities would risk not being invited to the annual Royal christmas dinner-party.

The royals are not hounded by the press, except Meghan and Harry, who they had permission to hound. In fact, they're very well protected from the press and largely tell the press what to write or not write. They use rights to access to control them. Journalists who step out of line are blacklisted and excommunicated.
It's how Andrew can get away with what he did without us knowing for years and Charles can prance around cheating on his poor wife and the only way we learn the truth is via an explosive interview from his wife. Why? Because the media won't touch such stories if they know what's good for them.
My small kock would have been surgically enhanced into a Mandingo so that more than one girl can attend to it at a time. One at the top, another at the middle, another at the bottom and Another rubbing my balls.

Citing a YouGov poll
Consider the following when citing the British public's beliefs:
1) We are not taught anything that might be deemed negative towards the recent British empire or monarchy at school.
2) The press are granted access to the royals in exchange for positive coverage (even Royal Propaganda TV AKA ITV documentaries have admitted this to be the case).
3) Apart from a few articles here and there in the likes of The Guardian, or when something is undeniably in the public eye e.g. the sweaty nonce, the press are massively pro-Royal.
Ask people you know, I bet most of them are unaware of (just off the top of my head) Charles being given millions by foreign dignitaries recently. Or, if they were aware, they've now forgotten i.e. the Harry and Meghan 'they expressed concern about the colour of our child'.
You can't really trust a poll when the propaganda machine is working this hard to condition everyone to love them

There's nothing in mainstream media about their business dealings as well.
The goldfish bowl is a little overstated, they obviously dont have any privacy when going out in public, however they can easily hide away from the public easier than most famous figures.
Having spent a lot of time at the balmoral estate that area is completely closed off to the world when the Royals are in town.

So yes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And you wouldn't mind being hounded by the press, TV, the public? Girls giving interviews about their passionate night with you, marred only by your small cocck.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The royals are not hounded by the press, except Meghan and Harry, who they had permission to hound.
Another perk of being a royal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you believe à word of that, you're daft.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be honest, only the part about me having a Mandingo with 4 girls on it is true.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
"But they're rich"
Will be the response to this of course.

So yes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And you wouldn't mind being hounded by the press, TV, the public? Girls giving interviews about their passionate night with you, marred only by your small cocck.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The royals are not hounded by the press, except Meghan and Harry, who they had permission to hound.
Another perk of being a royal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you believe à word of that, you're daft.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be honest, only the part about me having a Mandingo with 4 girls on it is true.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
They cannot even really spend the money they have. If Wills drove round in a Lambo, covered himself in tattoos and dripping in bling then he'd be hounded for it....its standard behaviour for your average millionaire sports personality, they have all the perks and can largely do WTF they like.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
So how did Andrew pull it off?
You are deceived by media. Any royal that wants to can live a life of crazy parties and awesome trips and adventures. The Royal media service would obviously never allow the media to report on those events and so the public would think my life is boring and repetitive.
Just ask Prince Andrew.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd argue Prince Andrew is a perfect example of just how you can't get away with it in today's world anymore given anyone with access to the internet knows what he's alleged to have done.

Thanks for that really interesting story and normal post. It really puts it all into perspective.

I think that extension story is just a front, they don’t like him because he’s a cuuunt.
