Pretty much everyone who drives will advise you to get a licence for both automatic and manual.
But I, like you have failed at the crazy world of manual driving and just have an automatic licence. It's served me well and there are plenty of automatic only cars that make life a lot easier. Good luck.
Manual every day. Autos are shít
Manual every time pal.
You say there's too much to do, but honestly, it becomes second nature you don't even think about changing gears.
Driving a manual has numerous benefits such as being able to accelerate and decelerate quicker; you have more control over the car; better for driving in difficult conditions and, of course, not making you look like some woman who can't handle gear changes.

Why are they shít? All my friends drive a manual car and they're having a go at me for wanting an auto. Ain't the best cars in the world usually automatic?
As Conor says, it will become second nature. I barely even notice when I am changing gears these days, you just "know" when and what gear to change into intuitively.
Semi Auto DSG is the way forward imo. Love my bocanegra

No, definitely not. The best cars tend to be manual.

Luxury cars, yes (because they are for old people, who are lazy). Performance cars, no.
You get a lot more enjoyment out of driving a manual car and have much more control.

I am a lazy guy which is why I want an automatic. Just changing the gear stick to P and D sounds good. I know manuals are usually faster but it's not like auto cars are sloths, I also don't have ambitions to be the next Vin Diesel which is why I don't care much about speed

be a man and get a manual.
It's not necessarily about driving fast, it's more about being able to accelerate at a decent rate rather than waiting for the automatic engine to catch up

It's not even about speed. You can "feel" the car more and, as I said, have a much better experience driving a manual.
Just stick it out mate, you will breeze it after a year or so of experience.

If you have a habit of driving manual youl be fine if youever switch to automatic as the basics are the same. However if you're used to driving an automatic and one day you have to drive a manual you'll probably struggle to adapt

I'm not doing my test till around June/July, I've only done 7 lessons so far and I've got a long time ahead to learn properly.
