Brentford stopped taking a knee a few months ago and have no intention of starting again.
The way this argument is being framed by some on here is that if you don't agree with the gesture you are pure and simply a racist.
Following on from that should we conclude that Brentford are a racist club?
Of course we shouldn't they are just being honest and admitting that any impact has long since gone and its the booing thats made it newsworthy again.

You appear to be continuing to miss the point so much that I think it must be deliberate. You say Brentford no longer take the knee, but they don't appear to be actively booing opposition players who do. This means you are creating a false equivalence.
Nobody is saying that everyone must be forced to take the knee or they are racist. What people have said is that if you actively go out of your way to boo an anti-racism protest then you are displaying racist behaviour because you are being hostile to the idea of equality.
All of the excuses people give have been debunked within this thread as completely illogical or based on incorrect assumptions.

Don't underestimate how much some folk don't like being preached to regardless of the message.
I've kept the BLM out of this so far today but while their logo is shown at the stadium and on the tv the booing will continue.
